Leaky bunghole, bad heater, 2 seater

Let me first say that I love this hot tub...when it's not leaking. Within one month I woke up to a leak and had to bail everything out. Only to find that the leak is due to the part that is supposedly sealed...and then there's a 2 piece PVC pipe that separated because a fully filled and inflated hot tub forces it apart. Before attempting to return it, I'm using duct tape, zip ties, and parachute cord to secure the pipe. I've even covered the bunghole with duct tape for extra security. Bottom line: get a different model. The design is flawed. Update: I just received a refund. My heater suddenly stopped working and I wasn't about to get another one in this model. If the above didn't already discourage you from getting this product, maybe knowing you have a few months, max, with a working heater will do it.

Do not buy this item

Received the product sooner than originally scheduled which was great. I promptly set it up in a warm area. The water started at about 51 degrees and after three days had only increased to 77 degrees. It then began to lose heat even though the cover remained on and it was not being used. This product is worthless. I read some previous comments and ignored them. Bad move. You will be sorely disappointed if you decide to order this product. Also, it comes from the EU so there are no contacts for people in the US. Their warranty covers some elements of the spa but you have to provide the information on the bottom of the heating element meaning you'll have to drain the water prior to making any claims. This is by far the worst item I've ever purchased from Amazon. Luckily, Amazon has always made returning the item as simple as possible.

Perfect spa for about 6 months

Edit: It’s Feb 2023 and we are on our 3rd hot tub. For an average of about $300 per tub (one was a replacement situation) I guess this hot tub is not the worst. But there are a couple annoying things that make me drop a couple stars from this. First, I haven’t had one last more than 7/8 months. The first one the heater stopped working. The second one the filter function stopped working. Now I am on the third one, but I don’t have much hope for longevity. Draining this hot tub is also not a fun experience. The little hose between the inside drain plug and the outside drain port has come apart in both the tubs I have needed to drain. This meant that we had to bucket (I borrowed a pump for the second) the water out since I cannot just let that amount of water drain on my patio by the house. It’s a pretty cheap design, but I guess you get what you pay for. Another con is the filter cleaning reminder setup. So every 7+ days the beeper alerts you that you need to wash out the filters. That is all good, but the heater stops heating even though the water still is being pumped through the filter. This makes no sense to me and has been a let down many nights. Since the filter clean reminder isn’t going off at consistent intervals, sometimes we are not home or it’s the middle of the night when the dang thing starts beeping! The temp starts dropping and by the time I clean the filter and reset the heater, it’s late and I can’t use my hot tub that night. Not cool, or hot or whatever!!!! Anyway, even with a few frustrating things, I still like this style of hot tub. I am going to look for a different brand to inevitably replace the one I have now. An inflatable tub is still the most feasible option for my family to have a hot tub. Aug 2021…So far so good! We’ve had it for about a week, set up was super easy despite the poor English directions. Within an hour, the hot tub was inflated, filled and staring to heat up. It only took about 8 hours to go from 64° to 85° , which ended up being a great temperature to sit in on a 100°+ day(which also probably helped the water heat so fast!) Since we got it, we’ve upped the temp to 98° and it stays within 2-3 degrees even with bubbles on for a bit, it gets back up to temp after a few mins with bubble turned off. We needed a smaller and cheaper spa if we got one at all, and this was the perfect solution. I figure if anything goes wrong, I will just buy another, rather than forking out thousands for a hard body spa and the increased electric and care/repair cost that often come along with them. I don’t want to have a dedicated 220v for a larger spa and also couldn’t find a hard body spa that would fit in my space that I actually liked the seat shape of. I like the fact that if I decide I want to move it to another location or put it away for a while, it’s totally possible! This simple square is really quite comfortable and the padding is enough so your bottom doesn’t get sore and your feet are cushioned when you stand up. The bubbles give a pretty nice massage and the kiddo loves them as well. I bought the basic chemicals and scum sponges and had no problem getting the right levels. It really doesn’t take much with the small amount of water(about 160 gallons) and it seems like the filters are doing a good job keeping any hair or fuzz from floating around too much. I also dig the fact that if the water gets too gross, it seems it will be easy to drain, clean and refill. It may not be the nicest or fanciest hot tub, but it is super affordable and fun for my family. We are hopeful it will last since it seems sturdy enough and can’t wait to try it out on cooler days/nights!
