Great set for home workouts

This dumbbell set is great for anyone looking to do some home workouts. The neoprene coating is comfortable and easy to grip. They are also very durable - I dropped the 8lb on the ground cause I tripped on my own feet and there wasn't even a mark on it (unlike my floor). I also really like the hexagon shape since I don't have to worry about them rolling away between sets. I haven't noticed any uneven weight distribution or balance issues either. Even though I bought the 3lb, 5lb, 8lb set it would be easy and affordable to add more dumbbells that match in higher weights when I'm ready. The stand is a little flimsy so you have to be careful when grabbing or putting away a weight, but it's held up so far and does the job. The best gift - If you keep it in the box

So every once in a while, I'm mean to my siblings. I once bought my brother a copy of Skyrim for the Switch for his birthday, but I wrapped it in so many layers you would've sworn I was gifting him a sweater. Well, this year for Christmas, I decided to gift him these dumbbells. He enjoys lifting a weight while he's at his desk. I'd say he's the most active out of all of us. I was running on a budget, so something like these was perfect. But the realization struck me when I was at checkout: "Keep them in the box" It was genius. It looks like it could be anything when it's in that square box. The box itself arrived a little banged up, which is fine (I kinda left an apology note at the door to whichever delivery person would bring these), and when I opened the box, they were pretty much exactly as advertised. I even lifted them a little bit before sealing them back up and wrapping it in candy canes. So come Christmas day. I'm passing out presents, and I daintily lift the box to my brother. he dropped it on him in an instant, with an exasperated oof. "What did you get me, weights??" I didn't really say anything. I just nod. He pulls out the whopping 24 pounds of present. Kind of flabbergasted. Still loves the present. I would say this is the heaviest present he's ever gotten, but the same year he got a 25-pound sack of popcorn. But let's be real- the innocuous box of dumbbells is better.

They are weights

The weights do exactly as described. They are 15lbs neoprene dumbbells. They sit there, weighing 15lbs. After using them for a while during a workout they feel heavier but I assure you they are not. Also, be careful to not stub your toes as the weights are very solid. 15/15 recommend

Great value!

I looked at quite a few sets on amazon as well as considered getting the weights and stand separately but honestly you can't beat this. It comes with 3 different weight amounts plus a stand at a really reasonable price. Given the price, the stand is on the cheap/flimsier side but so far it's holding up well and can support the weights without problem. These weights are good if you are not looking to bulk up - if you are interested in doing longer sets not heavier weights - or, if you are a beginner and need to start off with lower weight amounts.

Great Weights

Decent dumbbells

I put each one on a bathroom scale and both came up 10lbs. The coating is ok but seems like it could come off over time. I mainly choose these for the price. The handles are fine for my hands.

Good beginner set

Comfortable to hold. Stand is sturdy and easy to assemble. Arrived well packaged and undamaged. I had bought a more expensive set at a different store and returned them because they were poorly made and had a terrible odor. This set has no odor and is well made. Good value for money.

Good material. Stand not flimsy. Was packed well.

The dumbbells are good and each one of them was double packed. There were no dents or broken parts. I was skeptic before buying because of the negative reviews of broken dumbbells but I think amazon has taken those reviews seriously and has worked on them. The stand seems a little flimsy at first but once you assemble it properly it’s quite good. No, it wouldn’t break or swing. Giving one star less only because I think they could have printed a little information on net weight on the box and maybe some instructions on the proper way to pick up such heavy weight so that it becomes easy for the one who is going to deliver it. The guy who delivered it to us did not seem to be in a good condition and his back ached. Many people are not aware that they need to be in a specific posture to lift heavy things to avoid injury. It would be great if Amazon could print that information.
