Outstanding Rubber Dumbbell
Synopsis: Everything you need a rubber dumbbell to be from a dependable and reasonably priced brand. I was putting together a garage gym for my girlfriend and engaged in the process of trying to scavenge for dumbbells to supplement the free weights. If you've ever shopped for dumbbells you know they are outrageously expensive and run in a whole litany of varieties, sizes, reliability, etc. What I decided on were rubbers as they had the most durability in the setting of our garage and they would also be the most space-effective. These 10lbs and 15lbs are a bread-and-butter for warming up, doing light shoulder work, arm work, etc. so they needed to join the gym as quickly as possible. The dumbbells themselves are exactly what you would expect from any hexagonal dumbbells. They don't slide around on the floor, they sit nicely when placed down, they are sturdy, and pretty darn close to being weight accurate (see pictures). It should be expected that these dumbbells will not weight the exact weight purchased as they are not calibrated to that level. A rule of thumb I always tell her, and suggest in any gym; rotate your dumbbell each set to ensure any imbalances are evened out. My girlfriend has been using them weekly since December and has never run into any issues or complaints about the grip or the weight. I would highly advise you leave them in a place with airflow for a few days though--these will smell terrible out of the box because of the plastic, as mentioned by many of the other reviewers. Overall you simply cannot beat this value though. The dumbbells are reliable and for a fair price. No need to look anywhere else when Amazon Basics can supply exactly what you need. 5 Liftin' Stars out of 5!

Coming from racking weights, this is far superior. 25lbs is all I need at my level. And definitely all I need to get in exceptional shape. Supplemented with some body weight stuff of course. I love how fast it is. Just pick it up and set it down. No extra effort—the worst part of lifting.

\Very Easy to Store
As someone who loves to work out at home, I recently purchased this Rubber Encased Hex Dumbbell for my personal gym. I have to say, I'm very happy with my purchase! These dumbbells are not only effective for my workout routine, but they are also very easy to store. One thing I particularly like about these dumbbells is the rubber coating. It provides a comfortable and secure grip, which is especially important when doing exercises that require a firm hold. The hexagonal shape also prevents them from rolling around, which is a common problem with round dumbbells. In addition to their functionality, I appreciate the compact size of these weights. They don't take up much space in my home gym, which is a definite plus. And when I'm not using them, I can easily store them on a shelf or in a closet.

Great value for what it is.
Ordered a single 35Lb dumbbell for quick free weight training at home. I'll be ordering one at a time to complete pairs. Works for me as it's only to do isolated muscle work outs. Great for when I'm home from work and want to work out, between gym sessions.

These are solid weights, especially for beginners. I've been using these for about half of a year now, and they work well for me. I'm still using them 5 days a week with no complaints.

Good But Expensive
Does what it's supposed to do, which is just sit there and weigh 50lbs. At almost $100 though, it's no wonder why most people just choose not to get in shape.

Tremendous value for money
This is the ideal dumbbell for a home gym. Really good quality and weighs exactly as advertised which is not the case with some of the other brands I have tried. The grip is really good and the make is real high quality that is comparable to if not better than some of the costlier brands out there. The delivery was on time. Some of the comments mentioned about the smell but I did not notice any. Overall this is an amazing value for your money

Nice product (15Lb) dumbbells
The product is great, same as described on site. Quality of materials used in dumbbells are top class. Nice packaging. Sturdy and durable. No odour found as mentioned in other reviews. No damages found as well.

grip/handle little thin.
Dumbells look good. Well packed. Weight of both is about the same (as checked by lifting). One not so good aspect is that the handle / grip part in is little slim.

Very good weights
They are great quality, and worth the price. They helped when we were still not going to the gym especially (because of covid). They feel like good quality and have had no issues during use. The only drawback was initially they had a really strong smell, and even after about a week off-gassing in the garage, the smell was still really strong. Once the smell went away (maybe 1-2 months in the basement), zero problems. So if you don't care about the smell, 5 stars.
