I love it!
I bought this item for $6. My local archery store sells their cheapest armguard for 10$ and the quality is nowhere near the quality of this product. The item I received is different from the picture shown. I actually like the one I received better. It is padded with a thick foam that is dense but very lightweight. It has some slits for ventilation, which keeps my arm nice and cool. I use a 50# recurve bow and I can't feel a thing! The stitching seems solid. It doesn't seem to slide around on my arm while in use. I don't know why people are complaining about the length of the armguard. I think it is the perfect size. Not too long, but not too short. I've used my bow without an armguard many times before, so I know how much of my arm gets slapped by the string. This armguard covers that surface area perfectly! I'm 6'1" with long, relatively skinny arms just for some background info. The straps that keep the armguard in place are long enough that it will wrap around fat or skinny arms. I'd imagine it'd work on a child or a full grown adult. A definite buy! The only con is that the buckles are a little hard/annoying to take apart. Also I think the armguard is better-designed for left-handed shooters based off the buckle placement, but it still works great regardless (I'm a right handed archer).

Very Nice
I am a novice archer with a low weighted Genesis compound bow. This armguard has kept my arm from being hit with the bowstring who knows how many times. I don't know because I have never felt it. It is made out of high density foam with a wood patterned cloth upper layer. It has six air holes cut out in it, I assume so that your arm does not get sweaty underneath the guard. The guard is about six inches long which seems to be pretty standard and has two stretchy nylon straps attached to adjust to your arm size which snap with seatbelt style buckles. The picture does not seem to accurately show the product I received but I am very pleased with my purchase. It also appears to be made in the USA which is definitely not a bad thing. I cannot comment on how well this armguard holds up to a higher weighted bow, but I have not seen any sign of wear yet from my use. Overall: a good purchase and well put together

Great Armguard
I like this guard. It is nice and long and wide for my chubby little arms. It is not so thick that it will got hot when you are practicing in the summer due to the slots in the guard. Also, it is think enough that you don't have to worry about impacts or getting too cold during the cooler month of october. A good in between. It has two straps so you don't have to mess with a third. I hate 3 straps, my experience with them is they slide more than 2 straps, but it could just be my cheapo arm guards. My arm guard seems to be the 2011 model. About the same camo and shape, but it has some vertical slots in the guard. Not really much to say about an arm guard. It works, it is comfortable, and snap to add to my arm unlike other arm guards I've owned. A+

I can wear it with my small arms or he can comfortably for good periods of time
I bought this for my husband because he kept getting huge red marks or bruises on his arms after he shot his bow. This is very adjustable, I can wear it with my small arms or he can comfortably for good periods of time. I thought it would be harder but its pretty soft and flexible which is good. Also he is left-handed and I am right-handed and both of us can use this. Don't mind the camo, he doesn't usually do came but this isn't a big deal. This has kept him from getting those huge marks while shooting his bow.

It most definitely is for adults.
The picture isn't the same as the actual product, unless they just sent me a different item, which I don't mind at all because the one I have works well. It's two strapped and you can fasten with ease. I've used this with a 50# longbow and it protects my forearm really well. I would rate its comfort a 4/5 mainly because it does feel a bit awkward on the arm versus an armguard that fully covers the forearm that you would see in movies. It's effectiveness, I would rate a 5/5 easily. My little brother fit this perfectly. I fit it perfectly. A 300 pound man would fit this perfectly.

Great. Simple. 4". Holds clothes out of way.
I use for keeping my clothing out of way. I wear a 3d camo jacket and this works great. Good quality for price. I didn't want anything to expansive or fancy in case i lost it in woods. Measure about 4 inches. I haven't had my string strike it yet, as you shouldn't have that issue when shooting compound, but it is thick enough if I accidentally straighten my arm. I wouldn't use it for all day target practice if the string hits your arm a lot. Either fix your form or get a heavy duty leather one.

Exactly as expected.
I'm an adult male with longer arms (my draw length is 29.2 inches), and it fits me fine. I like that it is smaller which allows more air on my forearm, meaning I don't get sweaty while shooting like I do with my larger Tarantula grip. It's large enough to provide all the protection you need. Only reason I'm giving it 4 stars instead of 5 is that it's not a perfect fit on my arm and every now and then will slide out of position. Minor issue though.

Not bad for the price!
I'm new to archery and just bought a bow this year so I'm still working on form. I have a bad habit of letting my forearm sway into the strings which really hurts after you've done it a few times. This armguard fits nicely, has adjustable straps and protects my arm from the sting of my strings. Wearing the armguard has actually helped me be more aware of where my arm is and placement. The camo pattern looks nice. My only complaint is that I doubt the straps will last very long if adjusted frequently as the elastic seems kind of cheap. Overall this is a great buy and does what I need it to do for now.

Very small, cheap but works for what it is.
Might last a little while. Feels a bit cheaply made. Works decently however very short. Must be for kids because no adult has that short of arms.

Easy. Simple.
Very average low end ... but for what it’s used for this is fine. Adjustable easy to put on and keeps jacket/clothes away from the string.
