I Got Tired Of Bruising My Arm
I love this arm guard. My only complaint is the elastic that secures it to your arm. That could be a little more robust.

Great addition for my kid
This has saved my kids arm several times now and it fits him great

Fits Small Adult Arms
Since I have a small arm, it fits me well & covers most of my arm where I need protection since I'm just starting to learn archery. The fabric is comfortable against the skin & easy to wear on &/or off. I only gave it 4 STARS coz I have a feeling I would wear-out & need to replace the elastic bands since its on the thin side & may loose its elasticity with frequent use. But it's an easy fix.

Well-made product
I ordered 3 of these armguards, one in each color. My two kids (ages 8 and 6) and I all shoot recurves. I am a short gal 5'2", so I figured one of these would work for me as well. First, this looks to be well made. Comfy wide straps with easy to use, adjustable buckles. The material of the main body is athletic mesh, the type you find on high-end running shoes. On the outside of the armguard (the side that will take the abuse from occasional string slaps), there is an extra layer of tougher black mesh. This is why the colors look darker in the "stock" photos. The actual colors of these armguards are blaze orange, lime green, and bright fuschia. The mesh looks and feels like it will breathe well in hot weather, which beats most of the leather/plastic armguards I have seen. It's the same mesh as my running shoes, and they breathe great. The only reason I did not give this item 5 stars is the size. When this says "Youth" armguard, they mean "teenage", not "child" size. I am adding a couple photos, by which the rulers I laid out can show that the size is better suited to a teen or a small adult. I will add, I have been a "serious" competitive archer for years, and I have seen my share of armguards. If your string is hitting your armguard more than 1-2 times a day (even for a kid!) , find a coach to help you work on your form- the armguard isn't the problem.

It’s kid size! Not for adults.
The company’s description says it’s 8 inches long and it’s not. At best it’s 6.5 inches. That’s not a “medium” and definitely not an adult size. I’m 5’2” with a comparable wingspan and this was just too tiny on my arm. I’ll be sending it back. It looked as described and was light weight and comfortable to wear, so if you need an arm guard for a child this could be a great option. But the company REALLY needs to fix their description. It’s currently very deceiving.

Great deal
I was worried about the sizing on this since it's listed as "medium" but there's. I real information on what "medium" is. I was buying it for a tiny 11 year old but I figured for the price if it didn't work we could possibly alter it or her sister could just use it as a backup. To give more information, this attaches with elastic, adjustable straps. It fits my 65 lb daughter fine and still would fit me at, nowhere near 65 lbs. I am not sure it would fit a man with anything more than average size arms but it's otherwise very versatile. It molds well to different sizes and therefore does not get in the way of shooting. But it is a nice sturdy guard so any hit really doesn't hurt at all. It appears to be sturdy but since we've only had it a couple days I can't comment on how long it will last. However, we paid $6 for the pink so if it lasts even 1 season i consider that a good deal.

Small. Probably for kids

Great as a child's arm guard
First photo: Fits on my 9 year old's forearm. The elastic bands are long, but that's to be expected. She just tucks the ends under the arm guard. They stay tight while she wears it. The color is bright and fun! The guard is thick and seems very protective. She hasn't ever had the string hit her arm while shooting, but this will protect well if it does. Second photo is on my teenage son. Definitely a child size guard.

Pad is protective but the straps don't hold
For the price, it is exactly what you'd expect. The pad is actually really good tho and covers a good amount of the forearm when using it, and it's thick and sturdy so protects well against archery accidents. The main complaint, however, is the strap situation. The buckles don't hold well and the teeth slips looser and looser on the fabric straps as you wear it. I get around it by tying a knot instead of just relying on the buckle itself. Chances are I will probably replace the buckle with side release buckles later on, because the protective pad is actually really good and still can be used. Buying this depends on whether or not you would be willing to possibly make a repair on it or come up with another fastening solution to use it productivley.

Good quality
Just as described. Good quality and protects arm from string slaps.

It works, not necessary though
When you first start out, you may hit your arm with the string, but it only takes a couple shots before you stop hitting yourself, and the pain of the string is less than when you slap two fingers across your wrist. It works well though, and stops the string from hitting you, I would suggest it for younger people

Built well and reeally comfortable
This works great. The green was a little more Neon then what I was expecting, and I wouldn't want to take it out in the field hunting unless the animal was colour-blind, but its built well, very sturdy, hard-wearing, and most importantly comfortable to wear on naked skin for hot summer afternoons practicing with the bow before hunting season starts.

Well worth it!
I am really happy with the quality, comfort and price. It's a gift for my son, definitely for smaller forearms but the straps are long and stretchy allowing for alot of adjustment, fitting me just fine.
