Wrong Order

I didn't get what was advertised, but I don't really care, it still get's the job done. What I got was your standard military looking dark green canteen, when what I wanted was the squared canteen. I didn't return it and get my money back or whatever was cause I don't really care, although I wanted the squared look because it would have fit in my bag better. But for what I did get, I'll review what I got; The plastic that it's made out of is pretty cheap. It has the feeling of hard soap, like if you were to take a butter knife to it, it would certainly take bits out of it. It holds more than it looks, which is nice. And that's about it. There's really not much to it. It's a mass produced semi-cheap product. You get what you get. If I had to describe this canteen in one word, it would be "standard".

m1 cap lets you use it with a gas mask. soo now i have two canteens with wrong cap

Thin material in some corners!!

Just gently applied finger pressure on the outside surfaces revealed different thickness of the plastic material depending upon the area being squeezed. With the cap pointing upward and the corners right, left, top, and bottom. The top and bottom corners are sufficiently sturdy with the corners on the right, and left being much thinner and very easily dented inwards. These are most likely much thinner as this would be the easiest way to account for the weakness. I didn't expect much for the price, but a decent water bottle such as designed for a bicycle bottle cage is stronger and more durable than this container.

Misleading Advertising

Seems to be a great product, BUT the picture shows the canteen with NBC lid, BUT is NOT shipped with one, Very misleading and wrong, the main reason I ordered these Gunny

Came in a different shape.

This canteen is great. It did come in a different shape than pictured, but instead it seems to be a genuine GI canteen. It keeps water cold for a good while and doesn't leak the smallest bit. It's sturdy and doesn't smell like plastic, and the water doesn't have a chemical taste. EDIT: After a few weeks, it has started leaking small amounts of water when on its side.

Buena cantimplora.

Cumple con su función, no gotea y el plástico es robusto. El agua se mantiene insabora, es decir no sabe a plástico... Por el precio que tiene me parece buen producto. Lo que si es que no trae alguna leyenda que señale que está libre de bpa o algo así. Tiene marcado un número 2 busque en Internet y se supone que los plásticos marcados con ese número son seguros.

Muy buena cantimplora cumple con su función, buen material. En la cantimplora dice que está hecha en U.S.A pero en la bolsa de plástico en la que viene dice hecho en China, pero ahí creo se equivocan si es de U.S.A
