Pleasantly surprised....so far...Update ....30 JAN 2021...

First of all, I was pleasantly surprised with the quality of this box spring. Only one night sleeping on it but no squeaks so far. I should add that I will update this review if any problem occurs. Before I ordered this, I read through all of the questions and answers which took a couple of hours. So glad that I did as several customers mentioned the cover and problems putting it on. It is a very tight fit but if I can do it at my age, anyone can do it. A suggestion to the manufacturer would be to add perhaps 1/4 to 1/2 inch more fabric and it would not be so difficult to place over the box spring. I also watched the video twice before I ordered this and that was easy to follow. Four of the pieces were labeled with a yellow sticky that said 'up' which was most useful. My other suggestion would be to label all of the pieces with 'A, B, C, D etc. which would have decreased my assembly time by at least one hour. I did go back and watch the video again while I was assembling. Total time for me to get the pieces in the right order, double-check the placement, tightening of the hardware, etc, was 4 hours. After I got the box spring assembled, I went around each piece and put pressure on each one, to make sure things were as tight as I could get them. I am visually impaired so perhaps that contributed to the amount of time it took me to assemble it. At my age, I am thinking that perhaps I should have had someone make sure I had everything tightened well. If anything loosens up over time, will have someone help tighten it for me. All in all, so far and so good. The mattress I have on top is really heavy and as I stated previously, the box spring has no squeaks and appears to be most durable. In other words, no movement of the box spring. Update to follow if anything should occur. Edit on 26 MAR 2019... Have been using this for 17 months now... No squeaks, absolutely zero problems! Still as satisfied as the day i first reviewed this in October of 2017. And, my recommendation is still that I highly recommend this box spring. Update on 10 OCT 2019.... The 2 year anniversary of this box spring and once again there are no squeaks and zero problems. Still highly recommend this box spring~ Update as of 30 JAN 2021...Absolutely still in perfect condition. Was going to increase the star rating to 5 but don't dare to change it. Truly outstanding and most highly recommend this item for everyone that wants a sturdy and long-lasting box spring. Could not be any more pleased with a product... Most highly recommend...

Best Box Spring I've Ever Owned

I loved my first one (full size) so much that when I needed a new one for my bigger mattress (queen size) I didn't hesitate to purchase another! Box spring isn't really a proper description. There are no springs, just metal. Strong metal that's very supportive regardless the weight of whatever you put on top of it. Even though it's metal it's extremely light and once completely put together I'm able to move it around with ease. One of my favorite things about it is the cloth cover that fits over it. My first had a zip cover that once you finished putting the frame together you set the frame inside of the cover then it zipped up around the top so it was fully encased. This new one I bought has a cover that pulls over the frame much like a fitted sheet with a little extra to make sure it snugs all the way around from underneath. It's still as durable as the original one, but I loved having the old cover zip around the top. I'm sure the manufacturer changed the design to save money but it would be great if they went back to making it with a zipper cover. It's still so great that I still have to give it 5 stars. I expect this thing to long outlive my mattress and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a bullet proof box spring!

Excellent Product, Instructions are good but they take a bit of studying to understand

What is good: The design is very good, strong and lightweight. The manufacturing is excellent, all connections align perfectly without having to struggle. All parts are labeled clearly with adhesive back labels. Assembly: The assembly is easy, understanding the instructions takes a bit of attention to detail. My assembly instruction first page showed all pieces of the framework in position and labeled with letters. My frame parts didn't have any letters on them for identification so I had to identify my frame pieces by shape as shown on the first page. The tools you need are provided. Each part that forms the framework is labeled with two numbers on each end that match the same two numbers on the part it connects to. There are ten, hollow metal bars that form the support cross-members that press into place after the frame is assembled. Last step, stretch the fabric cover over the framework. What is not Good: Nothing! This is a very good product!

Real customer review 04/12/2023

I got this package around 6:03 PM EST today. The package was very long and a little tough to maneuver around my house, but that's to be expected. Unboxing the package was a tiny bit overwhelming, as it felt like there was an abundance of parts and I did not know where to start. However, upon further examination the user guide was extremely user-friendly, equipped with good pictures that anyone can figure out. All items were packaged correctly, and all parts were there with a spot for spare parts. The machinist did well and all end caps and outer edges fit together perfectly in the seams. The install took about 15 minutes with two people, and I can only assume roughly 25 minutes solo. The beams feel really sturdy and has some cushion to prevent noises from metal. Overall a great product and I was thoroughly surprised and quite pleased. "The ratchet" was a great tool given, and I am sure will be of some use to me on future car projects. Double points there. Thanks

Twin bed advertised as queen size.

The picture on this ad clearly displays a QUEEN size bed. I ordered after looking at an image, to my surprise what arrived looked nothing like the image in the ad. It was a way smaller Twin size frame. After looking closer into the seller's offering, I've discovered that they are using the same image for both their Queen and Twin bed frame ads. This feels scammy and smells of false advertising - this is an ad for a twin bed that displays a queen bed on all images. Returning the item. Unfortunately, while I can return the money, I can't return the time & effort to carry a whole frame to the return center. Very disappointed and will have to look for a proper queen size frame now.

Box Spring Minus the Spring is a Box

As most reviewers have said - comes in a very compact package, easy to assemble, good quality. The only problem is that there are no springs. This is not a “box spring”. This is just a box. It performs accordingly.

Sturdy, Quiet, Functional ! Great Value overall.

I bought this because a traditional box spring would not have fit up the staircase in my home due to a hair pin turn. I thought that I would be sacrificing structural integrity by buying this, but I was wrong. This thing has been very sturdy. I actually fell on this full force on the ground and it did not budge ( I'm over 300 lbs for reference.).. Another issue I thought I would encounter was squeaking. To my surprise they have added foam to the connections to prevent this and it has worked for almost a year so far. Also I thought with all the Allen key components it would be difficult to assemble, but the ratchet Allen key that they include makes it very easy to assemble. The has also proved versatile for other projects If you don't have the space to bring in a full queen box spring for whatever reason, rest assured that this is a good solution for you.
