Straightforward assembly, solid once together

After putting this boxspring together, I don't think I'll ever purchase a pre-assembled one ever again! Assembly was pretty easy, and the box has everything you need, including an allen wrench and a small ratchet. The instructions were specific about what order to do things in, but I just laid the parts out on my floor in their correct position, and snapped them together as I worked my way around. The powdercoating on the pieces feels high quality, and I did not notice a single sharp edge or corner. The pieces are all light but quite sturdy. I wanted a solid surface for a memory foam bed, and this seems to fit the bill. Something that worried me a little was whether the metal pieces would clank against each other when everything was assembled, but I think it'll be nice and quiet. The only place that metal could touch metal, there's a thin foam pad to prevent noise. At first I thought the cover was slightly undersized, but after getting all of the corners on, the material on the edges curves up over the top just a little on each side. It looks very nice once the mattress is in place. The ease of breaking this down to move it is a huge selling point. I don't plan on moving again in my life, but a large boxspring is a PAIN to move up and down stairs. This breaks down into a small enough package that you could easily move it up a spiral staircase. I would definitely recommend this to anyone who wants a sturdy base for their mattress, and especially to someone who has a tight pathway to their bedroom.

Reliable and Sturdy: a Great Foundation!

I recently purchased the Zinus 7 Inch Metal Smart Box Spring for my queen size bed and I must say, I am quite impressed with this product. The assembly was quick and easy - I was able to set it up in just a matter of minutes, without any tools. The metal frame is sturdy and strong, and it provides excellent support for my mattress. I also appreciate the fact that this box spring is only 7 inches high, which makes it the perfect height for my bed. It's not too high, nor too low - just the right height for comfortable sleeping. The design of this box spring is quite smart, too. The metal frame is well-crafted and the corners are reinforced to prevent any wobbling or shaking. The overall build quality of this product is top-notch and I am confident that it will last me for many years to come. The only reason I am not giving this product a perfect 5-star rating is that it does make a slight creaking sound when I move around in bed. Easy to put together but . . .

I had to buy their wood slats to put on top of this box spring because this box spring’s metal rods don’t give enough support for our ultra soft organic latex bed. My back was stiff in the morning because our bed isn’t like most that have metal springs inside and are more durable and hard(not as soft and squishy as our bed that is as soft as a giant whale’s blubber) Other than that, it’s easy to put together and took about 30-45 minutes. I like the nice soft cover that goes over it too! And it’s absolutely perfect after the wood slats edition! And now our bed is sky high!

This is worth it!

This metal box spring saved my freaking life! My significant other, and I have a platform bed, and we were supported by slats in the bed. However, we began to slowly start, rolling into the middle of the bed in the middle of the night, when we realized that the bed was starting to bow in. so frantically, I started looking online for the potential of a boxspring I was dreading, absolutely dreading having to have two twin size box springs as the foundation for my king bed. Then I found this. Assembly total time to not even 15 minutes I would recommend this to anybody.

Stable no noise

I’m a big girl and all I can say is this bed frame is amazing! I move around in bed all night and not once has this frame made any noise or anything. It’s stable and holds me plus my husband. So yeah I enjoy it! I love it :) My husband says it did take a while to build and he did in fact hurt smashed his finger! Buttt if he would have waited for me to help him, he wouldn’t have got his finger smashed ????

STurdy

This was the size I needed to lower my bed but bed is not shock or whatever to prevent you from feeling the other person move and it continues to slide on the half wood/metal frame. Hopefully when I change that I won' have the same problem.

Fantastic replacement for a standard wooden framed box-spring.

Works as expected, securely holds my mattress in place on the bed frame. Solid construction, the perfect height for my mattress and head-board and easy to assemble. Initial assembly might seem daunting, but just start bolting things together and you'll be done in no time! The cover that it comes with seems durable and I like having the option of removing it and washing it should the need arise. The unit is a bit on the pricey side, but you'll be hard pressed to break the slats on this versus a regular wooden box-spring. And that durability, though more expensive, comes at a reasonable price. I feel I have received good value for my money and a solid product that will serve me well for years to come.

Bang for Buck

I've had this for a month or two now, and it has held up well. I think it's just as good as any other boxspring, but the price is super affordable. It was really easy to assemble too, but I did rip the lining by accident because it's made out of a cheap fabric material. I don't think the lining part actually has a real purpose though besides just making it look prettier. 10/10 would recommend

Great design

I just receive this product so I cannot speak for longevity, but it was so easy to assemble, it took me no longer than half an hour and I didn't even read the instructions, it was a no-brainer. It came with the cutest mini ratchet that made screwing everything in place a breeze. 10/10 for ease of use. It came with the cover shown in the pictures but I prefer the aesthetic of the metal. Also it can easily be disassembled for transport so that's always a bonus.
