Love these. Look great if your shoes are in public and does the trick for storage.

I knew it was time to do something after the second or third comment that I have more shoes than [girl making comment]. At one point we turn shoe boxes on their side and stacked them as little cubbies but I quickly ran out of space for that. The only con is that it really doesn't fit three of any kind of shoe easily on one rack sometimes. So shoes with wider bottoms, like winged oxfords, supportive running shoes, loafers, etc sometimes have to squeeze on the the shelf or slightly sit on top of the lip. It's not noticeable to anyone that didn't put the shoe there, but I do think the product could use an extra inch. I have three stacked with mostly nice leather dress shoes that aren't light. No idea why it says the stacking limit is two. I currently have three stacked and it works great. Plan to add a fourth. I looked for shoe racks for days and am glad I went with this one. Looks great in my bedroom. Very modern. It would also work stacked in my closet but I kind of like having my shoes out near where I get dressed so I can look at them all and decide what I want to wear that day.

Hard to Assemble

Might take two people to assemble. One to hold it and one to screw it together. It seems like it should be easy to put together but it's more difficult than it seems. It's hard to put the screws in straight and hold the base correctly so that you don't screw the one side crooked to the other side. Hope I explained that okay. Anyway once it's together it looks good and works well.

Clean, stackable, and it looks good too!

Marone, what a breath of fresh air. So many shoe racks look the same that I was drawn to it like an ant to syrup. I bought one from wayfair and then when i decided to buy a second one (they stack!) it was out of stock but I found it here. Anyway, I ordered it, it came, I put it together, and I put it on top of the other one (it stacks!) The assembly is a little annoying just because of the design, but the holes in the metal are countersunk which is a nice touch that makes it very easy to put it together correctly. included are two little things you can use to attach to another one so you an stack them (they stack!) Looks nice in our little shoe cubby in the hallway

Does not fit 3 pairs of men's shoes.

I love the simplicity of the design and the ease of building unfortunately though there are a few photos showing 3 pairs of shoes being able to fit, but it is only because two of them are women's shoes. if you are a man and have wide shoes you can only get 4 pairs of shoes laid out on this shelf properly. 2 on the top and two on the bottom. If you try to put a third pair they won't fit comfortable on the shelf and stick out like one of the other reviewers showed. I really wish this was a few inches longer.

Good for the price

I like how easy this was to assemble! It’s durable enough for it’s purpose, and not flimsy/wiggly either. Don’t over tighten or else the wood dowels might strip. Very cute, just check the measurements first because it is small! Fits about 3 pairs of shoes on top & 3 below.

I'm a fan of beautiful and functional

I looked all over the web for an inexpensive yet stylish shoe rack and finally found it. I'm a fan of beautiful and functional, which is exactly what this shoe rack is! Having used them for 3 months, I can highly recommend them as sturdy, stackable, and aesthetically pleasing shoe racks. The same company makes one in white metal of adjustable length. I ordered that one too, but I much prefer this version as the dowels are wooden and the contrast with the black metal gives it a modern feel that works perfectly with my entryway. Yes, this rack is narrow! That's why I bought 3. Do not get this if to pile a TON of shoes on. I don't do that anyway since my entryway is small and fewer shoe clutter = better. 3 total fits about 8-9 pairs, with men's and women's shoes staggered on each row - more than enough for small households.

Simple, Elegant, Flimsy

Looks nice but one of the least sturdy flat-pack pieces of furniture I have bought in my entire life. I expected better from Yamazaki.

Half the item was missing

Item turned up repackaged and missing metal end piece and all screws.

Overall good, but some flaws

Overall aesthetics are good. Simple and clean design. Looks great for a narrow hallway. Reason for 3 stars is because the holes in the wooden bars are too small for the screws so it was very very difficult to tighten. The screws were so challenging to get in that it was beginning to strip. Perhaps a manufacturing detect, but would caution for those with weak forearms.

Misleading

Not exactly what I thought it was going to be. Not adjustable like it says it’s supposed to be. Too big when I measured how big I needed it to be and it said it was supposed to fit. Put it together and it’s too big. Not very happy with this purchase.
