Hard to squeeze open

They work, but MAN they are hard to squeeze open! I suppose they aren't going anywhere on their own, though.

The perfect hose clamp for dust collector hoses.

I’ve always hated the standard screw-type hose clamps for dust collector hoses. Chances are that you’re moving things around and are taking off and putting on hoses to various equipment fairly frequently. You struggle to unscrew the hose clamp and then try to hold the hose and tighten the clamp with a screwdriver to put it back on. These squeeze clamps solve all of that. Just pinch between your thumb and forefinger to open the clamp up, slide the hose off, slide it back on, and release.

they work but......

I bought the 5" hose clamps. they work but.... "handles" are only 7/8" long. making them much harder to squeeze, which makes it much harder to connect and disconnect 5" hose. I can't do it with one hand and the "handles" are too short to use pliers. I bought some 4" hose clamps from another vendor--T 114943--which work beautifully--they can be easily released with one hand to connect or disconnect. I wish that vendor made 5" hose clamps. but they didn't so I ended up buying these.

Too Weak to Hold

Too weak to hold a four inch hose if it has any tug and pull at all. Buy the stronger versions elsewhere on the web.

Woodstock were very responsive to my order and I received it much faster than I had anticipated. The product was exactly as described and I was very please with all aspects (i.e. price, delivery and quality of the product). I would highly recommend Woodstock International.

Exactly what you'd expect, but would be better if the spring was stronger

Pretty easy to take on and off, but I feel the spring is a little weak and could come off while moving around equipment. Would have preferred it to be stronger. (yes, having screw clamps is best, but these are just a little weaker than idea for this type of clamp)

Skip this product - too weak

Way too thin of metal. It’s like a asking a two year old to hold the hose on your attachment...but the two year old would do a better job.

very convenient but very weak will not hold hose onto fitting if there is any pull pressure even with the weight of the 4" hose itself
