Looks Great - Does the Job!

I saw these bowls at a bar in NYC and had to have them. The bartender told me where to get them on Amazon! They used them for lemon and lime wedges. I use mine for my Mini-Moos and sugar packets. It's a convenient way to keep things where you need them, but out of sight and neat! I highly recommend. I'm considering ordering two more for my bar!

Cool dish, but not for sugar

I am definitely keeping this because it is cool and can serve something else, but I am not going to use it as a sugar bowl. First it's pretty big to have on the counter next to the coffee maker and second it is not sealed at all to keep the sugar from getting stale or absorbing odors. That and there is no notch for a spoon. Oh and the opening is pretty small, so unless you have a sugar hose to refill it, you are going to need to spoon it back in in small increments. Other than that, it will make a classy and cool dish for something like mints, chocolates or diamonds...or whatever you put out for your guests ;-)

Not good for sugar, great for M&Ms :)

Bought this to be used as a sugar bowl to make it easier for my 78 year old mother. Not one of my brightest moments. Because the lid does not slide all the way back and remains over 1/2 of the bowl, it's nearly impossible for me to pour sugar into it from the bag and making a mess. It now holds candy :)

Alright, but could be better.

I was looking for something to hold sugar so I wouldn't have to take the big canister out every time I wanted sugar in my tea. I was looking for something a little bit unique-looking, so I went with this one. It works just fine in general, I'm just not thrilled with it. It seems like the lid is prone to staying open because of how it's balanced, but that could possibly be my household just not closing it all the time! The only other complaint I have is that it is MUCH bigger than I was expecting - it's comparable in size to the coffee pot from my 12 cup coffee maker. I think that overall this would be cooler in a bar-type situation for something like sugar cubes, but it's a little bulky for my everyday coffee and tea needs.
