Has lasted through its first season...

Bought for an outdoor kept ice maker in a construction yard. So it gets used to fill a few coolers. Seems like it is well constructed and definately high capacity. I would think it would be up to commercial use and can see it lasting for at a minimum a few years for my use. Certainly worth the money.

If you’re trying to buy made in American products, move along.

It’s a struggle to buy products made in America. I saw “Manufacturer Winco USA” and erroneously assumed that meant made in USA. It does not. The sticky tag on the scoop (below the one you can see) shows that it was made in China. I think it’s disingenuous of Winco to list Winco USA as the manufacturer. Exactly how does one manufacture in USA a product that is made in China? As to the scoop; it’s a scoop. Looks like it will outlast me. As to the verbiage used to describe this product, stop playing word games.

It is large and sturdy!

I use this to scoop lump charcoal out of a plastic storage container(litter box). It reduces the amount of charcoal dust flying around. It's difficult to "scoop" lump charcoal but using this large scoop and a gloved free hand to help fill the scoop it works pretty well and does minimizes the dust blowing in your face. Don't bother trying it with a smaller scoop as it doesn't work.
