Standard size, medium-duty pins; replacing some (same brand) that have been outside for 6 years!
I purchased this set of clothespins back in 2017 along with a pack of larger, heavy-duty ones for bulky items like blankets, jeans and denim jackets. I used these medium-sized pins for everything else and they have held up very well over the years (I leave them clipped to the clothesline when not in use, so they have been subject to sun, rain, wind and temperature extremes). I haven't had a problem with them twisting or coming apart at the spring. There are only a few of them left hanging out there now and they do look pretty awful, but I still use them every day and I definitely got my money's worth. It just made sense to me to buy the same brand again, and they look and feel exactly the same. They work perfectly for most of our clothing, as well as the sheets and towels. They open wide enough to accommodate the fabric + the clothesline and the spring is strong enough to clamp down securely so nothing falls off the line or is blown away even on windy days. Quality clothespins are hard to find and I think these are a very good deal.

Moderately strong spring.
Moderately strong spring. Better than the brand I last got from Amazon. But I would prefer an even stronger spring.

Yep, they are a simple thing that are so necessary if you use a clothesline
These were inexpensive, well-built and worked just right. We get a pretty good afternoon wind, too, and the cloths stayed put admirably. What more can you really say about clothespins?

These clothespins are kind of flimsy
These clothespins are not built to last.

Story checks out! They're definitely clothespins!!! And they hang clothes!
Opened the bag to check as soon as I received these, and, story checks out! They're clothespins!! Exactly what I ordered. And, bonus, if you use them the way you're supposed to use clothespins, they work just like clothespins!! I was a little nervous to order these because some other reviewers on here said they were cheap or fell apart, but I have not had that experience and I'm glad I bought them. They hold my clothes up to dry and that's what I purchased them for. Not a single one has come apart at the spring, although I imagine they might if I tried to use them to say, pick my nose, toss a salad, or hang this rare Picasso I acquired from this really nice but seemingly nervous guy in a Parisian alley back in 2010. (Got a great deal on it too!) Although, I do think they would work well as chip clips if you wanted them to serve more than the laundry purpose. Truly. If you squeeze them to open and release to close, they work just great. That's what they were made for, and that's exactly the job they do. Would buy again.

Should be stronger
These are not too bad but not really strong. The clasp parts are not the best quality and neither is the wood. They are not made as good as wooden clothespins used to be made. These are lightweight and so to use them to hang wet jeans or towels, I have had to use at least 4 per item just to support the weight of the clothing, otherwise the pins will either break or the clothes will fall off the line. Already, 4 pins broke just by me trying to hang a pair of pants. Otherwise, they’re ok.

Strong spring, as good as I could find out there today
The only reason I gave these clothespins four stars instead of five is the fact that they don't make clothes pins like they used to! Nor anything else, really. While these pins do have a much stronger spring than the ones that I'm currently using, the width of the wood isn't as wide as the pins I have from my mother which must be over 70 years old now and I'm still using them. I love to hang out my whites, sheets and towels, to dry in the sun and wind. There is nothing that smells sweeter that to gather in a freshly washed and dried in the sun basket of laundry. The towels of today are much thicker and larger than the towels of 40's and 50's and it takes three clothes pins to keep them on the line instead of the two that I used to use. These new Whitmor pins seem to be stronger holding so we shall see if they hold up to the southerly winds that nearly blow my dog over. I lost a pillow case during one of these gusts and have never found it. Some of the pins are a little rough but as I don't usually hang any delicates out, this shouldn't be a problem and they'll eventually wear smooth. Sheets and towels on the line are one of life's little pleasures.

Great quality pins.
These appear to be well made. I haven’t bought clothes pins in years, but my old wood ones are severely weathered and the plastic ones break. (I need to bring them in after use apparently). I was shocked how expensive these are now, but cheaper than running the drier all the time for sure.

Awesome!
I love these! I do a lot of laundry and we have a lot of wind that whips our clothes around - these hold up and even manage to keep our wet towels on the line! Would recommend to anyone looking for a good wooden clothespin!

Will order more
Really nice and sturdy, good and thick and they hold the clothes well. As long as my dogs or white pony don't get them. It's a race to see who can find them first when I drop them as I'm hanging or taking clothes off. But great, really like them and they came very very quick.

Good quality and big.
Good quality. Durable . Holds clothes well.

Realy nice wood and sturdy metal
A bit bigger than my cheap old clothespins. The metal spring does not crook after using them a few times and therefore the pins don't dissemble easily as my old ones did.
