I was resurrecting a 2003 bicycle that had been sitting for about 9 years and figured I'd give this a try. The bike was dirty and the chain had surface rust from it's time in the shed. I pulled the chain cleaned it with regular WD-40, steel wool and a microfiber towel. Soaked the chain with WD-40, pulled it through the steel wool a few times. Then, pulled it through the microfiber/rag to remove any steel wool and repeated until it was clean. I put the chain back on and used an old T-shirt to put a light coat of this wet lube on as I spun the pedals and the chain ran nice and smooth. At this point I made sure I ran the chain through the gears, to lube and remove corrosion from those and the chainrings. Then, I would wipe the chain with a microfiber to clean it, and reapply lube with the T-shirt until the everything was clean and lubricated. I also cleaned the front and rear derailleurs and jockey wheels, with WD-40 and a microfiber cloth, then used this lube on the pivot points and jockey wheels and worked it in. The derailleurs loosened up to where I had to re-adjust the L-H and shifting index. After a final wipe down the chain and derailleurs and entire drive train is working smoother than when the bike was new. For the heck of it, ( as I used to do with my bikes as a kid) I also laid the bike on it's side and used this lube around the axles and cranks and let it soak in. Then flipped it over and did the other side. From there, I ran the bike with the wet lube for a few rides, then pulled the axles and cranks for a service. The loose bearings from the wheels and cranks were easy to clean and I packed and reinstalled them with Phil Wood grease. Also a few drops down the cable housings, did wonders for the cables as well. If you don't have a bike stand, and work on bikes upside down, protect your handlebars and seat. I wish I'd figured this simple concept out years ago. It would have saved wear and scratches on shifters and seats. Ride safe.

Worked just as described. Easy to use. Happy with the purchase. FYI, after cleaning gate chain in the areas of thick grease with WD-40 Degreaser, I used this on the chain of our electric gate. Did the job in about 15-20 minutes, easy to use.

Works great but the bottle is not good. Spilled in my bag
The product works great but the bottle does not do a good job of staying sealed. I had a bottle in my cycling bag and one day it opened and spilled everywhere. I spent hours trying to get it off my gear. I don't think the smell will ever go away. It's my fault for not keeping it in a separate sealed container I guess but you'd think they could use a bottle that will stay securely shut.

Way better than the spray version!
If you have a bike or squeaky chairs in your house opt to purchase this oil as opposed to the WD40 spray.

Exploded in bag, smells like toothpaste
As other reviews here state, it exploded in the bag!! Luckily, it did not leak from the amazon package. Also smells like toothpaste or some kind of after shave, not oil! I dont know if I want my bike smelling like this anyway.. sorry wd40.. I like the smell of your other products better!!!!

Producto bueno, embalaje pesímo
Como comentan otros compradores, el producto es bueno, pero el embalaje de Amazon es increíblemente MALO, se derramo parte del producto e impregnó otro producto que venía junto con el lubricante. Si pueden cómprenlo en tienda física, se arriesgan a perder parte del producto o dañar otros sí lo envían con algo más. El empaque y embalaje de Amazon tiene que mejorar para estos productos!

Excelente producto.
Lo utilicé en la cadena de los portones eléctricos y funcionó excelente. Los mantiene lubricados y dejaron de hacer ruido en cuanto lo apliqué. Lo recomiendo más en aerosol pues es más sencilla su aplicación, la versión en aerosol la conseguí en amazon USA

Buen producto pero empaque dañado
El producto es bueno y lubrica bien la cadena de la bici. Después de lubricada la marcha y los cambios son suaves. Pongo 3 estrellas porque el empaque llegó saliéndose. De hecho el sobre de cartón ya venía húmedo por la grasa derramada.

It works!
I used this on a 13-year-old bike that was totally neglected, and it worked a treat. The chains are turning again and the squeaky noises are gone. Great to resurrect an old timers and go on cycling sessions with my six-years-old who has just removed his training wheels. Great product and pretty good price to resolve a niggling problem.
