Not a fan. A little too thick and didn’t self level very well for me. No good for painted wood.
The media could not be loaded. I would give this two stars but to be fair I believe I was trying to use this for an application a little out of its intended purpose. I was trying to coat a cabinet surfaced with three coats of acrylic paint. It never really self leveled like it is known for leaving massive brush marks behind. I had to completely re sand down to wood and repaint. It may work better on stained surfaces as intended. However the other aspect I didn’t care for was how unbelievably thick it was. I obviously knew it was going to be thicker than a traditional oil poly, but it was like painting with Elmers glue. I found it really difficult to get a smooth coat before it started drying and getting tacky. Had not luck with both with a brush or foam roller. I’d rather have to apply a couple more coats and have an easier and smoother application. I’m sure it may work well for other applications, but if you’re looking to poly painted wood, I’d stay away from this one. I’ve heard Miniwax polycrylic works well for paint, going to try that next.

Worth the extra!
I have passed on this product numerous times because of cost. Needed something coated quick so gave it a shot. One coat, goes on looking like elmers glue so easy to see missed spots. Dried in an hour with a fan on it. Water based so brush came clean easily as well. Im a believer now. No going back. Wish I had used this when doing a 72x24x2.5 mudroom bench with live edge last year.

Easy finish for indoor furniture
I found this product to do mostly what it claims. I wouldn't say it really provides complete coverage in 1 coat, but certainly in 2 coats which is still better than most poly finishes. I used it on a table I built with different types of wood on the table top, and painted legs, was really pleased with how it came out. And still have 3/4 of the can left for future use. I would recommend this product, though mainly for smaller pieces/projects.

Great product with consistent results
This is a really nice finish. A couple of tips after using several cans this year: A high-quality brush and even brushing dictates how well this thick finish lays down. Low dollar brush = bristle marks throughout. Also really monitor the surface as it lays down. Lightly Sand to even between coats and this finish is the best on the market. I like the satin finish best. I’ve really struggled with the gloss finish but overall: great brand.

Satin should be put on with thin coats. It may yellow
It was easy to apply on furniture. I also used it on a mosaic top I had made. That was a mistake. It was poured on and brushed to cover with a sponge brush.. 3 layers dried for days between. It's quite thick to cover the design. But it has yellowed and you cannot see the stones below. The table tops came out fine. The Mosaic did not come out well.

Worth it
this stuff is awsome! I did three coats with the minwax and could still feel all the imperfections of the wood just wasn't happy. I did one coat of the triple thick and its way smoother, just glassed out. Feels like its laminated. The two benches took a entire can just on the table top and faces.
