We thought that maybe we were doing something wrong when it came to using these measured pourers; we ordered 3 total and had the same issue with all of them. About half the time they would stop pouring at 1 ounce, but many times they kept on pouring without stopping which defeats the purpose of using them. Maybe we just got a bad batch or maybe there is a trick to getting them to work all of the time, but even watching videos didn't help us.

Not an aerator
If you were looking for an aerator, don’t buy this. If you simply want to pour that assists with dripping, this is the product for you.

Perfect pourers!
Love these wine stoppers/pourers! I am a promotional model for a wine tasting agency and I have to pour wine, but I have to do it nicely, no messes, no spills, no drips, etc. perfectly if you will! These stoppers help me do that, they have a no drip edge that catches all the left over wine so there is no messes! Also helps to pour slower so I can pour my one ounce pours! Perfect for what I needed them for!

THEY WORK!
I gave a party and the bar was self serve. The table cloth was white and the wine was mostly red wine. I watched them pour and was delighted to see no drips. I checked at the end of the evening and still no wine stains.These little stoppers gave me peace of mind.

Wrong size
This seems to be exactly what I wanted - it's just too small. I have bottles with larger openings and these just don't fit. But they look like they'd be great for smaller bottles.

Wrong Amount
The package came in and I was excited to try it out. I pulled out a bottle and then got a shot glass that has markings on it for different ounce and milliliter measurements. Although the package says that the spouts will measure out an ounce, I was disappointed to find it actually measures out exactly a half ounce (I tested both of the spouts, and both did this). I am using the correct technique and the ball bearings work well enough to stop the flow of liquid, but it stops it at the wrong time. It seems that they shipped spouts calibrated at 1/2 ounce and marketed them as full ounce spouts. This means that in order to pour a shot, one must turn the bottle upside down, then back up to reset the spout, and back over again. It's actually way more work now than it would be to buy free-pouring nozzles and calibrate it by counting in your head (e.g. a 2 count would equal an ounce). If you want a spout that will give you a true ounce, I would not recommend this one.

Not reliable. Only one of the two worked in my package
One of the two works quite well. The other one fails to pour 1oz every time. After many tries and washes, it only pours a few drops. I would not recommand this item to anyone.

Pricey for the quality, but handy to have when it actually works.
Pros - Measures out a TWO OUNCE shot with each pour, not one ounce as expected. Once you know that, it's fine. Cons - Measures out a TWO OUNCE shot with each pour, not one ounce. This can lead to issues, depending on what you're pouring. Also, depending on what liquid was through it recently and how well it was cleaned, it will not measure properly until it frees up the ball bearing inside (can stick open or closed until wet again), this can be avoided by cleaning it right before using it for the first time in a day or more. With some practice/experience, it's a halfway decent item to have at your home bar.
