I have always used the rabbit wine pourer and stopper, it poor beautifully. But the new pourers do not have the rubber seal secured on the pourer base. The rubber seal does not go into the bottle to seal, but rolls up the neck of the pourer. Not sure if this a one off, but the pourer does not performer as the units I have had in the past.

Useless first try! Does not fit all regular wine bottles... too wide! All photos are not the product! BUT...
This would have been (or maybe still can be) a great wine pourer and stopper design if it were not too wide for most wine bottles!! First time I tried, it did not fit any wine bottle I have properly and the rubber around the neck of the stopper bunched up! Therefore useless, BUT... I would suggest inserting the stopper in and out of a bottle the best you can by twisting and pushing a few times to compress the rubber fitting around the neck that gets bunched up, arrange the fitting, then peel back the top of the rubber neck fitting and apply some Crazy Glue or rubber cement. Let dry for a day. THEN, simply apply some water on the stopper before inserting it in a wine bottle. This will fix the problem. Also, two of the photos taken are of a different Pourer/Stopper. The packaged photo is the only correct photo, although the one I got is called a "Rabbit" by Metrokane, not even the name on the packaging here with the correct photo is right. These Pourer/Stoppers have silver backs not black. If you follow my above suggestions and you are OK with the Pourer/Stoppers after a few times, one or more of these gadgets can prove to be extremely handy! I have 6 of them and after following my own advice they work well. But still, I am very disappointed I have to modify an otherwise great product to start with in order to enjoy its use!

Super Stopper - Best in Class
Unlike the majority of wine pourers, especially the stainless steel "nozzle" style, this pourer/stopper does not leak, dribble, or come apart with daily use. It works equally well with 750ml and 1.5l wine bottles. It forms a fairly tight seal, and some care should be exercised when removing it from an empty bottle. It is well designed, attractive, works like a champ, and it's cheap. However, if all you want it for is its sealing ability, then the lever action bottle stoppers are more rugged, and will take more use/abuse. This little device excels as a pourer/stopper, which is exactly what it is designed to accomplish. And while the rubber seal may degrade over time, (especially for the ham-fisted who force it out of the empty bottle), the device has a huge saving grace: they are just slightly more expensive than a bottle of Ripple - so cheapskates can afford to buy another one. Kudos to everyone involved with bringing this to market.

Doesn't fit all wine bottles
We purchased two of these after a stay at our daughters house where she used one. We are avid wine drinkers and always have 1-3 bottles open at a time. We thought this would fill the bill, but we learned that these do not fit all bottles. We mostly drink PAPI Pinot Noir from South America and these bottles have too narrow a neck for the spouts to fit into. Other American wine bottles they work fine on. Choose per what you drink.

My Fav Wine Stopper
These things are great! Super easy to clean, and pour from! My wine never lasts more than a few days, but the stopper has always helped keep it fresh too!

Stopper diameter may be a wine bottle top snug fit issue.
The stopper did not fit one of our wine bottles as too small a diameter. Yet we have another identical stopper that fits the same wine bottle. ??? Not sure why.

Good job!!!
The product description was accurate. The item did not disappoint us. It is the 3rd model we have tried in order to stop the few drops falling from the bottle while pouring into the glass. It is the best one we have. It is a value for money item. We have not tried storing the wine in the fridge with the stopper on yet because we always finish the bottle the same day :P
