Good quality
Purchased for ice skating. They look and feel good. Small was too small. I only looked at inches not weight in the sizing chart….my fault. Had to exchange for larger size. I’m 5’ 2 120 lbs.

Runs small
Doc suggested i wear this to shield my ulnar nerve. My arm is strong but not huge so i ordered the large. It is too tight for regular use.

Meh.
These will save you from scraping an elbow but it won't do a thing if you land on it, especially while bent. Save your money unless you just want the bare minimum or you're worried about looking cool.

A good piece of kit.
I bought these for range qualifications to protect my elbows from the rocks on the range. Good price, easy to don / doff over sleeves, quite comfortable to use and hold up to some abuse.

Effective during low impact street skating / park skating
I'll start by saying that I am an "adult" skateboarder in my thirties. I bought these pads after suffering an elbow injury that left me very sensitive to slight impact on my elbow. I bought these pads to use during my street skateboarding sessions or at the skate park, I'm happy to say that they effectively reduce the pain I experience when falling and rolling on my elbows. I will say that these pads are effective for falling in a flat ground situation or skating a flat rail or a flat ledge, I wouldn't expect these pads to absorb the impact of say ollieing a 12 stair, sticking, and slamming directly onto your leading elbow. So recently when I was at the skatepark I tried to do a frontside 180 kick flip and I landed primo, I fell on my butt, my elbows, and my hands and I was very happy when I didn't feel any sharp pains in my elbow. Let me describe this properly, I fell onto my butt rolling onto my lower back, and then placing the hands on the ground followed by the elbows making contact with the ground. Basically it was your typical fall that I would have experienced sharp elbow pain from in the past, with these pads on however I did not feel that pain. In summation, these pads will probably reduce the pain experienced from rolling on your elbows, but probably won't reduce the pain from a direct slam on your elbow against the concrete.

Street hockey must!
My son plays street hockey & they recently required elbow pads. Something small for protection. I found other elbow pads were bulky or required me to help him get them on. These ones he can pull on by himself. It slips so easily over bulky hoodies. You can also throw them in the wash if you wanted. They lasted all year, and we have even used them again this year. Highly recommend

good, could be lower profile
They're my favorite pair of elbow pads. They're small, but still thicker than I hoped. They don't impede my range of motion though.

Comfy, Not Bulky.
I also purchased the 888 knee pads. I really wanted knee & elbow pads that I can easily travel with. I'm old. Not going to be riding half-pipes or deep pools. Casual street and skate park use only. These are perfect.

Much larger than stated
Checked size chart and measurements but these were far too big and had to pay to return them. The stitching securing the pad didn't look like it would last very long either - could've done a better job myself! Bought a pair half the price instead and they fit better and look more long-lasting.

Poor quality, stitching falling apart.
Stay away, on receipt of the elbow pads I contacted the seller regarding the stitching as seemed loose and whether they are genuine triple8, they replied with year they are and there are fakes about. So I decided I’d trust them and continued to use them. To date, these have hardly been use and as suspected the stitching is all coming loose, they haven’t had any scrapes or impact. I am expected to pay for return for seller to then return to triple8, to then receive replacements. Shocking service, buy elsewhere.

Not much protection
I got these hoping the foam padding itself would be fairly rigid, combined with the easier wearability of having no hard cap. Size was wrong based on their chart, so it doesn’t stay on my arm at all, so I’ll be returning based on that. But beyond that I would be afraid to rely on these for protection. I know they aren’t meant to be a full replacement of true elbow pads, but as someone that recently took a fall and cut my elbow - I don’t think wearing these would have protected me too much that day anyhow. I’ve found other foam pads that’s you can land with more support so I’ll be using those instead.

Too big not accurate measurement for sizing
Not happy. Tried to do a straight exchange to a size small from medium. However they tried to charge me additional shipping and the item said large not small so that is annoying
