Well built

These pro pads are very well built and I will not be afraid to send it big in the bowl.

Good protection, but comes with a some down sides.

I bought both the 187 Killer pads and the Triple 8 EP55 Elbow Pads to compare. They are both good pads, but they both have upsides and downsides. For the 187 Killer Pads, the upside is they are quality construction and I believe they would provide a lot of protection in a fall. Padding is thick and adequate, if not a bit stiff. I would have liked to see a little more pliable padding, but I imagine that would require even thicker padding, making the whole pad thicker and bulkier. This brings me to the two downsides, which are related. The 187 Pads are bulky... bulkier than the Triple 8 pads, which is probably due to the extra padding sizes. The 187 pads have a bit more padding, making them bulkier. In addition to the bulky pads, the Large (which I purchased) was too tight. It cut off circulation in my arms and severely restricted my movement. The Triple 8 pads did not restrict my movement in any meaningful way and did not cut off my circulation, and were easier to put on and take off. While the 187 Killer Pads might offer slightly more protection, the convenience of putting them on the and the lack of movement restriction, and slightly less bulkiness make the Triple 8 elbow pads superior to the 187's. If you want the ultimate protection and don't care about your movement, then the 187s might be a better option, but buy 1 or 2 sizes up... both the knee and elbow pads are sized WAY too small, though the knee pads are substantially smaller than they should be, the elbow pads are maybe one size too small whereas the knee pads are two sizes too small. In the pic, you can see the 187s on the left and the Triple 8 on the right. You can see my veins popping more on the 187 because it was cutting off circulation. I'll be keeping the Triple 8 and sending the 187s back. I would like to have liked the 187s more, but the sizing made that impossible. Perhaps with a larger size, I might feel differently, but I think the movement restriction would still be there, given the bulk of the 187s, making it a non-starter for anything that requires movement in the elbows.

Consider ordering the next size up

I measured my elbow as instructed, then rounded up to the next number but the pads were too tight. I have to return them and order the next size up.

So thick and protective...double edged sword!

These are soooo thick and I need that, I have nerve damage in both arms and they're super skinny and my elbows are like glass. MUCH thicker than the competition. That said, they are really thick and kinda embarrassing looking, which has led me to avoid wearing them now and then! When I didn't wear them I instantly went down on my elbow btw. Do wear them. XD

Definitely size up. I'm 200lbs. with normal arms and the XL's are almost too small.

Great item! Super durable and offers great protection. Definitely be aware they run small, so order a larger size than you think you'll need.

Very protective.

These suckers are thick and well padded! Wish I had them before I took a tumble off my Onewheel and ended up with a bone bruise that still hurts 6 weeks later. The only downsides are these are too bulky to wear slyly under clothing, and the foam in them is very stiff at first.

Buena calidad, me quedaron muy chicas.

Me llegaron a tiempo, la calidad es muy buena. Son robustas y protegen muy bien hasta por debajo del area del codo. Lo único malo es que la tabla de medidas es muy variable, según la tabla era M ( tengo 11" ) y decidí pedir L y ni asi me quedaron. Quedan muy justas del área del antebrazo y donde empieza el biceps. Te estrangula y no me imagino tenerlas puestas mas de 5 minutos. El problema es que el vendedor no las ofrece en XL y tuve que hacer la devolución y buscar la talla por otro lado. La protección se ve muy bien.

Excelente protección, poca comodidad

Compré en talla XL porque la L estaba muy ajustada y aún así pienso que siguen apretando mi antebrazo y bíceps. La protección se siente muy bien, ya tuve una caída y no sentí el golpe pero llego a la conclusión que no es una codera cómoda con la que pudiera estar todo el día patinando como lo hacía con otras. Espero que con el tiempo se vayan holgando y dejen de dar esa sensación. La calidad de los materiales es de lo mejor.

Size up! Good pads

Protection and padding These pads have firm and dense foam which is a good thing for me as I have a chronic nerve injury in my elbow, I gave my elbow a few hard taps and felt nothing on my nerve injury. (It's usually very sensitive) Sizing SIZE UP ! I measured my elbow as per instructions, it was 11" circumference, that puts me in Large, but I went ahead and order an XL. it fits comfortabley snug! For your reference measure your forearm and biceps area 4" away from the centre of your elbow point My firearms are 11" , my biceps are 12"

Order one size up

I listened to most reviews and order one size up. My size is Large according to the size chart, but I ordered a X-large and that fits perfectly. With the heavy pad, I don't feel anything on falls. I wear it for skateboarding in bowls. It does limit the mobility of my elbows but that doesn't bother me while skateboarding.
