Easy to use, Best for Price

This antenna was super cheap, super easy to install, and when I tuned it I thought the tuner was broke because the SWR levels were so low. I have moved on to a Francis 5.5, but honestly the 3fter was more than enough and seemed to work perfectly.

For the price, not bad at all!

Installed it and got great reception right off the bat! Do need to adjust it a bit (SWR lower on 1 than 40). Despite what some people are saying in the reviews, it is tunable. You just need to be careful about it. This is modeled off the original Firestik which tuning was done by removing the tip, cutting the plastic wrap away and then tripping the tip of the wound wire and replacing the tip. Would have liked to have seen this modeled off the Firestik II which uses a screw at the top of the antenna mast for tuning. But none the less, for $16 it's a really good deal for getting started into CB radios! Couple of notes: High SWR all over the band? check your connections and most importantly your ground! Low SWR on 1 but high on 40? Antenna is too long Low SWR on 40 but high on 1? Antenna is too short
