EZ & fast from different vehicles!

I've got 2 or 3 of these... . It's awesome changing vehicles really easy... with a PL-259 adapter for a Handi Talkie, this extends the HT range significantly!

Works, but imperfect product.

I picked this up for $20 because it has a spring and is inexpensive to replace. The good is that I have no trouble picking up channel 19 with 1.5 SWR at the default height with a reasonably tight set screw. Middle of the road is that the cord isn’t that long, but I used it with a BNC cable and a cheap SO-259 to BNC adapter. The bad is that the packaging didn’t seem well sealed new and the set screw could have easily fallen out and worse, the allen wrench it comes with doesn’t properly fit the screw. I found a 1.5mm hex key did work. I think that this antenna can work well but it’s definitely not top shelf.

Not just for cb radio

I needed something to route/hold my cables from travel trailer to truck, and keep them from being pinched. This does the job, after a few modifications.

This handheld CB with the antenna package needs a separate ADAPTER

This handheld CB with the antenna package needs a separate adapter to connect the two pieces together. It should be included in the package, but it's not. You'll need to buy a COBRA HA-BNC CB adapter. Besides that, the CB is easy to use and seems to have a range of about 4 miles with the added antenna connected. I can hear talking when I turn the radio on inside my house, but I'm not sure where it's coming from. I live in a flat, rural area, about 3.5 miles from an Interstate, so I'm assuming some of the chatter is coming from the highway. Seems like a great deal but the separate adapter REALLY SHOULD be included if the seller is making a package deal.

Utilisation fixe et RX

C' était pour une meilleur réception avec un vieux WT CB RadioShack . Tout est dans le cadrage de ma fenêtre pour évaluer le trafique Hertzien 27 Mhz. Peu d'activités finalement. Ce qui va m'amener a choisir l'achat d'un Radio CB, où d'orienter mes achats sur Amazon dans les récepteurs Scanners. Dans ce but, la RoadPro 711 est un bon investissement

Ok but.

Seems ok. Like other reviews, the locking Allen bolt stripped right away. May be consider a higher quality unit in the future.
