Basic robust product.
Looks fine for commercial service, and is well constructed. Simple to install, easy to read & set. Little to go wrong, so should be reliable.

It does what I need it to do.
I had a unique project that needed a fan cool mode thermostat. This fit the bill. It installed easily and controls a vent fan fairly well. It is not terribly accurate on the temp controls. If you need it to be exact, this is not the right control. If close enough works for you, then this will fit the bill. Accuracy is about +/- 7 degrees F. The built in thermometer is nice to have as reference. Construction seems fairly solid and mounted into a metal switch box easily.

A good basic coarse controller.
This "thermostatic" switch is in use as a rough temperature controller for an evaporative cooler. We are a couple in their 70s living in the (hot) San Joaquin valley of California. If not for this device we would be up and down fairly often to turn the roof cooler on and off to keep the house temperature in an acceptable comfort range. With this device set to an approximate 72 degrees Fahrenheit we find that it cycles well with a swing of about four degrees or between 70 and 74 degrees. Note: the overnight outdoor temperature stays well above 72 for much of the summer here so our house interior often gets up to as high as 84 on the warmest days. As a result our cooler runs 24 hours a day, despite the use of this thermostat switch, but it does have a welcome functionality during the more mild spring and fall seasons.

Not accurate
The temperature was off about 3-5 degrees and there is no adjustment. You could also see the thermometer was not glued in the right spot so it was off too.

Low tech = high reliabity
Use to control attic exhaust fan. Turns ON on rise above the set point so for cooling ONLY. Oddly the instructions inside package were for a bunch of different T stat models for heating. Was worried they sent me wrong thing but worked as intended. Solidly built, like stuff from old days. No digital stuff to break

Works great for what I used it for.
We have a big swamp cooler in or trailer. The trouble is even on low it can freeze you out of the living room unless it's over 80 outside. I mounted this in the hallway and wired it ito a nearby plug-in and to the pump on my cooler. My wife is happy now.

It works.
I hooked this up to a bathroom vent fan to help pull heat out of a room on the ceiling. It took about two minutes to hook it up and it took right off. Turned the thermostat all the way up and it shut off. Good buy in my opinion. I don't know how accurate the thermostat is but it doesn't matter in my application. You will also need a deep work box as the hook up for the control does hang off the back quite a bit. The unit seems well built.

Nicely built with good old, simple, non complicated, reliable bi-metal design.
Designed and built of good materials.... not flimsy nor lightweight. Works great with the ceiling exhaust fan used to remove heat produced by two refrigerators in pantry. My only negative is the degree range between coming on and going off … The come-on temperature setting is precise, but the temperature range after coming on until going off seems a little wide. But it is totally acceptable for my purpose. This is a "cool only" thermostat, i.e.. it goes off when the temperature drops to a specific temp. It is not for heaters!!!

Waste of money for me.
I hate to be the bad egg but I am not happy with this thermostat. Mounted it in my greenhouse and its erratic since i got it. Set it for 80F to control a couple fans. It didn't start till about 86 but I can live with that. The problem is it often wont shut off until close to 70. The odd time i will come home and its below 70 and still not shutting off, but a tap on the stud its mounted to stops the fan? I could turn it up so it shut off sooner but then it gets to hot. And like i say some days its better then others. was hoping for better quality. Really wanted this to work, and its getting worse as the summer carries on. Will be looking for something else next year.

Works great
Used it for a camper AC. Worked wonderfully. You need to be careful with the AC freezing up, but much better regulation that the factory installed one. Temperature on the dial was off a few degrees, but I was worried about how it felt in the camper, not what the dial said - once it was set just right it didn't get adjusted.

Perfect to keep temp down in grow room
So far it has been working perfectly. I've heard some reviews about large variations in temperature that made me hesitant to purchase but I have not experienced this. it's set to turn on at 27°c and it turns off at 25°c.

I am updating my review.
Previous review had one star because the item was so far out of calibration that it seemed like it was working in reverse. We ran the dial back several times and now seems to work correctly although still about 4 deg celius out of calibration. I can live with that.
