Couldn't find this anywhere
It's the right one, size wise. Fan is larger. My old one was 3", this is 4". If you get one, mine came with loose parts inside, fan housing needed attention. Same thin metal but heating elements are nice. Would think so for the price.

Perfect heat, but loud
Fits perfectly under the cabinets in the kitchen. Gives off perfect heat. They are very loud though.

Very poorly made
If I could give only 1.5 stars, that would be my rating here. The workmanship on this product is very sloppy. When opening the unit up, the bracket holding the motor in place was completely loose. When trying to tighten one of the screws, they were completely stripped (I replaced with a larger screw), and when tightening the bracket, the rotors would not move at all; required stacking several washers to lift the motor unit up so the fan would clear the bottom of the housing. This explains why the unit I replaced, which stopped working after about 10 years, always sounded like a jet engine when turned on. BUT the most frustrating thing about the workmanship here: the knockouts for the electrical. They are NOT "knock out." In fact, impossible to remove. They simply could not be removed, requiring me to drill several holes and a lot of doctoring to create a hole. I jury-rigged electrical tape to ensure the Romex would stay in place. Just terrible. That said, the unit is installed and seems to work fine (and again, much more quietly than its predecessor, thanks to the minor surgery on my part). So, unless you're willing to do a lot of fiddling - or live with a unit that's poorly crafted, I would steer away from this. The only reason I purchased was to replace the old one, and was afraid a different brand/kind wouldn't work with the existing thermostat.

Poor Quality, Poorly manufactured, and Over priced
The media could not be loaded. I don't like the fact that I had to modify the heating coil because the fan blade rubbed against it right out of the box. Didn't someone QC the unit before it was approved for sale? The metal of the heater box is too thin, bends easy. It came with no screws to mount the unit. The unit is too loud when it runs. The heat it produces is satisfactory. For over $500 for the heater and thermostat, I expected a better quality product. Wouldn't recommend.

Kick Space Speciality Heater
My heater keeps my kitchen and dining room at an ideal heat during a bitter winter. Grandchildren enjoy sitting near it after they have been outside sledding. My husband warms his boots nearby to help make his feet cozy before going outside.

Plenty of heat and well built, BUT............
This unit puts out plenty of heat, and is well built!!! However and this is a huge however this unit is very loud. Have tried numerous times to find a 2000 watt toe heater with a squirrel cage fan. Have always come up empty handed. Had been told by a response person on amazon that this does have a squirrel cage fan. (Let me clarify......neither the seller nor the manufacturer told me this had squirrel cage) Seller was great to work with and was willing to have it returned. However was out of options and needed to replace the original heater and have kept and chosen to endure the noise for now. I have numerous other wall heaters with squirrel cage fans that are whisper quiet.
