This'll get your attention in a hurry!

It's a 24" fiberglass rod with narrow leather slapper, rubber grip, and rubber strap. The narrow slapper produces a quick and intense sting. I have to admit that didn't get this for horses., but rather for for Mistress to use as she sees fit. I can attest that the length and width are perfect when used in both "one shot" and "rapid fire" mode and produce an intense sting that really gets my attention. This is a quality crop that will get your attention in a hurry. It sure gets mine!

Love the light weight and the sharp action as applied to the rump. It definitely gets one's attention when the leather is applied.

Excellent on Humans

I'm one of the people who didn't buy this for my horses so I can't tell you anything about how it works on them. I can tell you that the tip is made of real leather, the stem is covered in a tightly-stretched sturdy fabric like you'd expect, it's strong yet fairly flexible and it makes that satisfying "Ssschwip" noise when you use it. The loop for your wrist as well as the handle are made of rubber so the loop is easy to cut off if you want. If you're a newbie kinkster trying to decide between a Fifty-Shades themed thing and this, please get this. Also, please research how to safely (and pleasurably) hit people with these for your own sake. If you start wailing away at the wrong part of the body you could literally maim or kill somebody. And remember there is no shame in asking questions; that's how we all learn. It's been over a year now that I've had this one (after my dog demolished my old one) and so far, so good. I'm thinking about ordering another in pink.

Great Canine Motivator!

Our bullmastiff is a total couch potato. You can put a treat two feet from him and he won't move an inch. Sometimes, we're in a hurry to get out of the house and he just won't budge. I used to ride horses, so I thought, "Maybe a little tap with a crop?" Sure enough, I now try to motivate him, and if he refuses to do anything but put his legs up in the air, I try a treat. If that doesn't work, out with the crop! Just a little tap on the buns is all it takes for me to make it to my meeting or to get my daughter to school on time. Sometimes, just the visual alone is enough. Thank you Tough 1 for keeping our family on the move.

Worth it!

I bought this for a costume, so I'm not sure how it would last with more focused use, but I love it. It's a nice crop for the price and seems to be far more sturdy than I'd expected. Also seems to be quite good quality. It arrived quickly, in a box that could have been smaller, but as it protected the crop from any shipping disasters, I can't complain. My one small quibble is that the wrist strap is a bit bulky and inflexible, as it's made of stiff, molded rubber-like compound. So it does the job, but not as well, in my opinion, as some sort of cloth strap would have. However, as I said, that's a minor thing, and if I care enough to do so, it would likely be quite simple to change the strap myself. It's a nice crop, and I definitely feel I got my money's worth.

Excellent training tool !

This is not the first tough1 crop I have purchased, they are durable enough for regular use. Nice selection of color to match other implements. The thin single popper is real leather and delivers the proper sting when applied smartly to the rear flank of your "animal". Also makes an appropriately sinister "Swoosh of DOOM " when swung through the air.

Pretty good

The crop is durable and serves its purpose. It will likely last until I can find one with a better strap, which is plastic and rather annoying as it rubs on your wrist while riding.

Gets my horse moving

Have a lazy Haflinger, but all I need to do is tap him gently and he walks. Just the right length and size for my hand. Don't know about the durability yet, but with the gentle use I need to get the beast going, think it will last.

And so do I. Our last crop broke as it was Mistresses favourite toy, this one looks and feels far more durable. And also provides much more encouragement for slave to behave properly.

Love the snap you can get with this. Seems to be nice quality, real leather and from what I can tell so far it's durable as well. The sound it makes in the air is pretty great. Used to ride horses, funny enough. This would be great for those too.
