Great day use bag

held up very nice for day use trips. large pockets hold lots of snacks and drinks. strap to secure to saddle is a bit tricky as I used it on a barrel saddle but was able to make it work. Zippers are nice and strong and held very good.

Durable

2nd time purchase. Lasted 4 years and ride a minimum of 600+ miles per year. Only reason I'm replacing it is because the exterior netting was tearing

No hole at the top for a pommel

It's a good saddle bag, but only allows for back of saddle area; it would be nice to have a hole on the top strap to hang from the pommel.

Decent for the price

All I can say is…it works, sort of. It’s easy to attach to your saddle and holds lots of stuff for long rides. The bottom of the water bottle holders are just nylon straps so I don’t expect those to last long. Mine came with broken D rings on the bag straps so that was disappointing, but the strap fittings are very cheap plastic and basically useless, so I chucked those anyway. Replaced the plastic D rings with metal ones so hopefully that’ll work. Overall it’s just…ok. Probably wouldn’t buy another one but for $30 it’s nice to take water bottles and stuff along on long rides. If they upgraded the hardware and sealed the bottom of the water bottle holders it would be a MUCH better product.

Value for money

Value for money. It looks as sturdy as my friends and we've been using hers forever. 2 - 7 hrs in the saddle, holds sandwiches, snacks and waters and ties my jacket on the back. Not the brown color from the picture which was the most disappointing and annoying issue - as I wanted the brown in the picture specifically to match my horse. Oh well. I got very dark brown - it will do - Value for $.

Works great as tractor saddle bags, too

I'd been looking for purpose-made tractor hood bags. Basically, "tractor saddle bags." There's basically nothing out there for this exact purpose. Then I realized, duh... for saddle bags I should use... SADDLE BAGS. The tractor hood is basically the same width as a horse, so it should work. And it does. This is actually perfect for my purpose. (see picture) I selected the black version so it matches the black on my JD tractor. Giving me storage for gloves, tools, drinks, more. I just added a small bungee to each side, linking the bag to the motor mounts to keep it in place. (Again, see picture) It fits perfectly on my JD 20xx series tractor. I figure it should work fine on other makes/models as well.

Looks good on your saddle/convenient

Good for trail riding, fits yeti cups In the drink holders. Zippers seem to be working good and seems like a good trail bag for a day of riding used it 4 times currently and haven't noticed any rips/tears.

Could be better

I like the size of this saddle bag and how light this bag is. But the zippers are very stiff. It is very awkward to unzip, I thought it may get better, but it hasn't. The bottle holders are pretty much useless. I have lost every drink I have put in there.

Water bottle holders need some work

I love the saddle bag but my water bottles fall out of the bottom. There should be a better bottom on them. I will likely saw something on the bottom so that the bottles stay put

Perfect size saddle bags

Love these bags, they stay put, have plenty of room and bottles do not fall out if they are the right size, even at a trot.

Great addition to my saddle.

I've been happy with this purchase with one exception. The strap under one of the water bottle holders was sewn poorly and ripped off after only a few uses. That said, the rest seems to be holding up quite well and I've definitely had friends ask where I got it.

PUT TOGETHER BACKWARDS

Just received them the other day. Getting ready to go trail riding for a week. Thought man they look pretty good for the price. Then I realized their put together backwards. Pretty much useless. Thanks a lot
