It does break so yay but…..

It broke hours after putting it on for the first time due to a yearling biting the metal cheek side piece and it was incredibly sharp/ left the bucket hanging off. Glad I saw it to take it off. I feel like the metal shouldn’t have broken. I understand the leather needing to for this as that is the replaceable “break away” part.

Halter seems well made but.....

Halter seems well made but needs an adjustable throat strap. Also there was a sharp edge that had to be wrapped in Gorilla tape.

Buckle no clip

Wish they had a clip instead of buckle as my QH has big jaws and it’s a tight fit Sides pull back a bit Nice looking though

It does what it was supposed to

Love Love besides I just got it and my horse just broke it but it does what it's supposed to... got it so my horse was safe with a break away halter on but also so I can identify her easier if she ever got out

Very breakaway

The halter breaks away very easily but has held up so far, will keep and probably just buy a replacement strap for the future

Nice halter

Love it! The leather crown is thin, but that is exactly what I want in a break away. I use this for a turn out halter and if my horse gets tangled some how I know he can free himself with minimal damage. I'll gladly replace a halter if it saves us a vet visit. The nylon is nice and soft too! I got one of this brand for our mini horse and love it just just as much.

Great breakaway halter!

Great halter for the price - bought this one to replace the one I bought four years ago. Sturdy, very adjustable and the breakaway strap is not flimsy but it does the job intended and will snap when you need it to! I have a 14hh AQHA mare who normally takes a cob size halter but this halter sized down to her nicely - and it fits my much bigger gelding as well. Certainly a very good spare halter to have in the barn - can’t beat the price

Not good quality

I had it on my horse for three weeks and the buckles and nylon were broken. My horse is very easy on his halters.
