Rib and body protection but with an uncomfortable vest.

Stiff as expected. Well made. Hard to put on if you have limited movement. Used to protect my ribs from further breakage. Will be sewing down the large velcro flaps after the size gets stable.

Won’t last one season

We liked how light weight the vest was, but after a few shorts months the zipper ripped off completely rendering it useless. I’d recommend for the money to upgrade to a leather vest out of the chute. My son is 14 and used it in 3 clinics and 3 rodeos.

The best deal for your money for sure

Love it !! I was looking for a vest that would protect my ribs from getting broke again & I another one I was looking and asked others on FB what they thought or knew of it when my first response showed me this one. It’s perfect. I havnt had it tested by being bucked off my horse again but with how well it’s contructed, I don’t see a problem. Buy it!! The price is right for sure. I didn’t have the $ to spend but this was a no brained. I got size extra large because that’s the size shirt I normally buy so it’s true to size. As you can see from photo, I’m not really heavy.

I am a 2x or 3x and its too small unfortunately. Because I am losing weight for the sake of my horse, I have kept it for this Summer. It seems well made- though I think its important for all of us to realize that unless a Vest is RATED (see Google for all of that) we are still not doing the best we can for ourselves. Those can cost 3-400,00 though- something to save up for.

Saved my sons life

Bought this vest for my son, he rides high school Bulls. He was bucked off and stomped directly on his chest with the full force of the bull, resulting in 2 broken ribs and a collapsed Lung. Although it was bad the Dr. Assured us had he not had the vest he would’ve died.

Don't buy

The zipper is not worth it at all !!!!!! The first time I put this on I whent to zip it up and bang the zipper just falls off !!!!! And to be honest this vest serves no protection to bull ridding at all ! I had a OSHA safty officer review this vest and it's simply a piece of airsoft foam !!!! Yes it will protect you from a nurf gun not a bull do not by this !!!!!!!!!

Great quality

the problem with the vest is that the fit seems wrong somehow it is too high in front the padding is very stiff & not flexible at all. Well made but needs some alteration.

Not As Tough As You Would Think

Don't get me wrong, it gets the job done. Hence the five stars. I asked several people to punch me whilst wearing the vest and felt very little force. It will protect you. However, the other reviews appear to make it sound as if is made of rock. You can easily move around in it. The only problem I notice is that you may need to get your perfect size sewn onto the adjustable Velcro straps. As they can rip off fairly easily.
