Top Quality Socks
I've been a loyal Thorlos supporter from my time in the military, where Thorlos socks saved my feet from blisters and other ruck march driven foot injuries. These socks are no different. I tend to buy them a size smaller, as I cannot stand the large size swing that I feel plagues the sock market. Most are designed to accomodate up to six whole shoe sizes, and if you fall on the smaller end of the scale you end up with socks that have too much material and bunch up inside your footwear. This has led to many blisters, and rendered products useless to me, especially for running or marching. Since my shoe size usually runs between 9-10 depending on the brand of footwear, I buy the mediums, which end up being snug, but in a good way. This ensures that if there is any slippage, that is only between the sock and the shoes, and not my foot and the sock. These socks also last for years if you follow the care instructions. If you fail to follow the care instructions you the socks can develop a rougher texture, which can lead to some hot spots. Outside of that, the only drawback is the price. I'm not sure who has decided that sock prices across the entire market should be greatly inflated, but it is a bit irritating. That is really my only gripe about the product. If you can afford them, certainly buy them. There are few things as important as protecting and maintaining the health of your feet...they are your foundation after all. These will go a long way in helping one accomplish that, especially those who lead active lifestyles.

Heavyweight ankle socks
Been looking for some thick socks in the at-the-ankle style with little success. These are some of the better ones I've found; not quite as thick as I'd like but definitely thicker than anything else I've found lately. Also really like the patchwork design. Material is neither soft nor scratchy, but comfortable enough to warm/cushion your feet and forget about. They do run small - had to order the next size up from my usual but that was a good fit. Edit: They stretch a lot while worn, which may be why they run small. The larger size became a bit loose with use.

It's not what I was looking for, but they are Comfortable SOX
I have been pleased with the socks. I appreciate how they appear to wick the moisture away from my feet, and either my feet are dryer, or the appear to feel dryer in my shoes. In the Sub-Spring weather, to kick off my shoes, I don't have the "Chill Factor" of my other cotton socks. What I was looking for was a "Cushion Sole Sock" that would be like the Military Boot Socks, I was issued while in the Marine Corps. These aren't quite like that, but feel comfortable in my walking shoes. I believe I'll order at least 3 more pair to replace some of my cotton sox.

The best sock you will ever own, try one pair and be enlightened.
Found these socks while shopping for shoes last year. They have a lifetime warranty and happen to be the best made sock I have ever felt. They are costly, but again, made to last and lifetime warranty. I have tossed my 30 pairs of sub par socks and every few months I add a pair of thorlos, I have about 7 pair now and usually a year of use is two or three sets of other brands. When the inevitable hole pops up. None if my thorlos have lost their elasticity, there comfort, their thickness or anything, they breathe so well my feet never sweat, and consequently never stink, my feet are cushioned well so they don't start hurting. They are all still in very good shape. Even that first pair I bought, which I wore several times a week and now I cycle them all 1 or 2 times a week. I have bought different designated socks to feel the difference and of all of them, these are my goto favorites.

The best socks I have ever owned
The best socks I have ever owned. I have diabetic feet (with peripheral neuropathy). These are thick and provides an added layer of support just like a Podiatrist would do with your shoes. A Podiatrist would add Orthotics to the bottom of your sneakers/shoes for added support. I now have Orthotics plus these socks, but the socks alone will make a huge difference. I recommended/bought these for friends without foot issues and they all replied, "It's like walking on fluffy white clouds." I never knew how important or how much a difference a sock can be for comfortable healthy feet. We just assume it's only a sock. Well I learned the hard way how important comfortable clean socks are.

Bravo Thorlo, Love Them
I am a healthcare worker on my feet sometimes for 24 hours in a row. I am a big fan of thick bottomed socks that offer a lot of shock protection and protect my feet from the brutality I put them through. I look for breathability, softness, natural feeling fibers and a good fit without feeling tight. I wear a size 7.5 wide in women's shoes. These are all of the above. I love that they are not white (although I also have many pair of Thorlo run 10's and love them too) because the white can look old faster. I have many many pair of Thorlo, some that are 18 years old and are just a tad worn around the edges but still do their great soft - baby my feet - job.
