Was concerned this might be "too" thin for cushioning

This was the perfect weight for me. I have much arthritis in my feet and the cushion is important, but Florida weather requires a sock that is not too hot. For my uses, Thorlos are perfect. I DIDN'T expect the cuff to be quite so high so my runner/walker's tan is going to be even MORE bizarre than it usually is. But, since Thorlos only last 15 years or so, I'll be ready for a new pair in - lol. No, I will alternate them with other pairs of Thorlos and the tan line won't show. As for value for the money, you have to consider that they wear like stainless steel and you won't need to replace them any time soon, they cost, literally, pennies per wearing.

Thorlos are the best socks ever!

These socks are very soft and comfortable, while at the same time providing much needed additional padding in the toe and heel areas for fitness walking and jogging. Their wicking action keeps my feet from getting too hot when working out in FL. I have many pair of Thorlos that are more than 15 years old and are still holding up great because I wash them inside out and use fabric softener as recommended. They are more expensive than other brands of socks, but it is an investment that will treat your feet well for many years to come.

Thicker than I thought

Nice socks. They are thicker than I expected. Will keep but will have to wear them with different shoes than I planned. I wear a size 7 shoe. I ordered small and they are a little large but not bad.

I’ve bought these socks before and the never disappoint—worth the penny. Suggestion: I air dry mine, just toss them on top of the dryer instead of in.

One of the best running socks you can buy!

I like these socks a lot, and wear them to run all summer and into the fall (in the winter I wear SmartWool). What I like about the Thorlo Socks: Ankle length, so my running shoe don't rub and the socks don't slide into my shoes White socks, but the heel is tweedy black and white, so you don't see any discoloration Comfortable for running, right amount of softness and padding Long lasting -- I run 35+ miles per week, and I've had Thorlo socks last several years! Made in the USA It may sound crazy to be so enthusiastic about a sock, but I love to run and having the right accessories is really important. I've tried other socks, and I always come back to Thorlo.

Protect your feet and use moisture wicking socks

I have type 1 diabetes and easily get callouses on my feet. Thorlos socks protect my feet the best for everyday wear in all situations.

These socks are some of the few that fit as expected and are available in a size 5.5. most of the one size fits all socks are still to big for her. I can tell you she loves them since the 3 pair I bought her for Christmas seem to be the only ones she wears. Yes that was last Christmas and they are still good as new. My wife is very frugal and would never spend this much money on one pair of socks, until I bought them without her knowing, needless to say she didn't complain a bit when I offered to buy a couple more pair.

The name speaks for itself, buy these socks

All I can say is, buy these socks. They are expensive, yes, but worth every penny. I have a pair of Thorlos that I bought in the USA over 15 years ago, and I'm still wearing them. They are only just now showing signs of wear in the heels. They are also super, super comfy and great for hiking, running, etc and wearing to work, especially if you're on your feet all day. They have different types of socks for whatever you need them for, so there's lots of choice. I love Thorlos and buy them as a treat for myself when I have the extra money. Very highly recommended! Also, watch out for fakes, they do circulate on here occasionally.

The only sports sock for me!!

Love these sock for training. I only use Thorlos because the padded area around the toes and feet is very comfortable. This sock fits really well and does not disappear into the shoe whilst running or during any high impact gymn training. I bought a size small which is a good fit for me. I am a size 4 or 36/37.
