Replacement for my old indoor outdoor thermometer
I needed a new indoor outdoor thermometer and was looking for one tha just did temp and time. I could care less about humidity. My hair is my gauge on that. This one was perfect

It's a little colder outside then Unit reads...
I like being able to see the outside and inside temperatures but the outside temp is usually a few degrees lower them what the unit reads. I made sure it was not next to a glass window so the heat in the house would not effect the reading but it still reads a little off. I had a little problem with the alarm going off when it was freezing outside but I reread the directions and was able to turn all the alarms off. Other then the temp reading a little higher then it is outside I like the unit and can look at the unit instead of having to check the weather online or on TV. May buy another thermometer to double check temps. Instructions are very tiny to read, it would be helpful if they were in a larger print.

This worked great for a science fair project. Not the most accurate device in the world, but it was adequate. While the display and the outdoor sensor are sitting on the table in the basement it will be one or two degrees off in what it is saying. I would think if both sensors are indoors then the temperature would be the same on both readings, but I guess not. Anyway, it is close enough to prove a point and the price was right. Not a bad little device. I will say that it was missing a part. There is a kickstand that is supposed to be on the back of the display that was missing from the packaging. Not that it was really necessary for what we were using it for, but it actually would have been nice to have. I'm kind of bugged it wasn't there.

Cold/ Cold/ Cold
I need this to let me know how long I can keep my dogs out. Should I take a long walk, or short if too cold. I need it to plan if my students will be going out for class in PE. It is better than the thermometers in Lowes or Home Depot. The wireless remote goes dead in the cold with the batteries. This has the battery inside and the sensor only goes out so it stays accurate. Only thing- I wish it had a sturdier stand in the back to keep it upright. It slips down a lot.

It Serves It's Purpose
I purchased a few different thermometers for my house. I have electric heat and wanted a thermometer in each room to monitor the heat / thermostat. I found this thermometer to be pretty close if not accurate to all the other thermometers I have. The wire for the outside portion is approximately 3 feet long. I would recommend this to anyone.

Seller description is wrong, indoor/outdoor temp is somewhat accurate
Easy to read, but I bought two of these because the description shows that they are powered by AA batteries, these are powered by AG10 Coin Cells. I avoid devices with coin cells and would choose something else because coin cells are expensive and terrible.

Spend a few dollars more for one that works
I have bought these exact temperature sensors from local stores in the past without issue. This one displayed the indoor termperature but the exterior sensor from the start on displays 'hhh'. Tried moving the exterior sensor probe from hot to cold, worked intermittently and once back at room temperature displayed 'hhh'. Would not recommend.

Issues
First one I received was reading about 10 to 15C too high on both inside and outside temps. Returned to Amazon, and now replacement is reading 2C too high on the outside temperature when the temperature is below about -5C. Not a big issue, but irritating. Too bad as it looks good, and is very legible. As noted in other reviews, does not display date/day of the week.

Not really indoor outdoor
It's great and cheap but don't put the main unit outdoors. I got it for raising turkeys - to monitor the heat so they don't die for the first few weeks. Worked fine (and saved me a LOT of time) till I moved the turks to the dedicated baby turkey mansion. Then it rained. It's still working but occasionally now will switch from farenheit to celsius and forget what time it is. When this one croaks, I'll get another and be more careful about water. But... I hate to see good materials go to waste!

Temp
Used for checking the temperature of a fridge in my man cave. Works well. Can be used anywhere you want really as long as you can get the temperature sensor to fit.
