Great clock but temperature gauge doesn’t work

Super cute and larger than I expected based on other images in reviews. Only complaint is that the temperature gauge is always at 80 degrees.

A very nice clock and we like it!

This clock is attractive and we liked the way it was painted. It is large at 14 inches square and it is quite heavy. Make sure you hang the clock with a strong screw or nail. On the back is a square cover over the clock mechanism. Squeeze the sides and it will pop off. You can then install a AA battery into the battery holder and then use the dial on the clock mechanism to set the proper time. Reinstall the cover and make sure that the arrow on the cover is pointing up. There is a listing of the instructions on how to set up and hang the clock. The instructions are on the back of the box it came in. One of the things we noticed is that the temperature setting was not correct. Upon inspection I noticed that there was an adjustment dial on the back of the thermometer for the temperature setting. Once it was set it was repeatable and accurate. It is a simple bimetal temperature measuring coil so it should not be hung in direct sunlight or it would be very inaccurate in its measurement. After setting the time and the temperature both were accurate and they have stayed that way. The clock has a strong hanging ring on the back of the clock. There is also a stand-off to hold the clock against the wall to make it hang flat. The clock arrived packaged well and in perfect condition. It was in its original manufacturing box with foam support blocks and then that box was in another packing box for shipment. This is a beautiful clock and we will have it on the back of our home on our patio. We are having our house renovated and when we are done we have the perfect place for it. I rated it 5 stars and as a good product.

I’m stuck between 3 and 4 stars on this lovely clock.. this is why.

‘Is it worth the price?’ That is more of a personal question than anything else. I think it’s a bit on the steep side, although I’m by far no clock expert. And it is lovely, but very fragile. Make sure to handle this clock with much care. I got this for indoor kitchen use, so I do not know how it holds up to the elements, but it is very lovely. There’s no disappointments as far as looks are concerned. It’s an attractive clock for sure, but would it hold up outside? To ME, I’d think likely not for the long term, but again, this is not my intention. I’m just saying. I might not spend $40-$50 + on this item, but it doesn’t mean that it’s not worth it to another potential buyer. For me, it looks good, it works well, it appears to be highly accurate and matches my kitchen. That’s why I gave it 4 stars, solely because a 3.75 star option is not available. It’s definitely a unique piece of artwork to hang on your wall, no denying that. I’m in love with the design. It is a giftable item, it’s just fragile, so again.. always handle with care. I can just tell from the feel of this product, It’s not bombproof for certain. Since I give it 3.75 stars, I’ve rounded up to 4, but it’s slightly lower. The price MAY be a bit inflated, but the product is attractive and it works, so I am a happy girl, thus far, with it. I hope my review has proven helpful.

looks great

It's a very pretty clock. Runs on a battery, very simple. The thermometer was about 10 deg off but there is a dial on the back that you can calibrate it with. I just brought it inside for a few days and adjusted it to match what my thermostat said temperature was. Seems to be holding accurate now. It does say to keep it out of the sun because the resin material can soften or warp. The places I originally wanted to mount it all get direct sun so took some looking to find a good spot.

Taylor Precision Products 92692T, Multicolored 14" x 14" Poly Resin Painted Beachwood Clock with Thermometer This clock/thermometer looks cute hanging outside near our hot tub. I like the hand-painted floral design and the gray and yellow colors. It seems to be accurately keeping time and correct temperature. Feels solid and I'm hopeful that it will last for a long time.

Stopped working 2 days after the return window closed!!
