Open, high sides
Great tent with a few flaws. The vestibule requires 3 steaks to pull tight and the side you want opened needs to have the steak removed to secure opened and if you want it closed tightly you have to re steak. Just an extra step that seems to be a flaw. It also closes really tight to the top I wish it was a little more opened for the size. This is not a deal breaker. The screen door is huge and opens and closes nicely but the points to secure it open are up under the fly and really a pain to get to. This is probably a little more annoying but I just ended up not securing it. Other than that nice tent for the price on sale. I'd at least consider other options for the full price. I will say the sidewalls are pretty steep and the tent is very open for such a compact design that seem to be unique to this tent.

Great value
Used it 4 times so far. No complaints. Easy to set up and pack. Poles feel wonky but they are just curved in an unusual way. The whole deal is study. Seems are taped.

Mostly good, decided to keep it
I had been considering spending a bit more to get a lighter option since I’ll want that eventually, but I tried this one out first and actually really liked it. I couldn’t ever get the upper-side pockets to work like in the photo (you kind of have to choose between the top pocket or the two upper side pockets), but for the price that’s acceptable. It’s taller than I strictly need but that’s kinda nice actually. I like that the rain fly has little vents at the top for some semblance of ventilation during summer storms. The only problem is some design flaw caused the zipper on one side of the rain fly to snag on the fabric surrounding it. This happens a lot, and while trying to fix it the zipper guide regularly falls off its rails. The place where you would pull them back together (like the part at the bottom of your jacket) is hidden in the top, sewn in. I've been able to get them back together without a guide but this continues to happen now. Luckily there are two entrances to this tent, and the rain fly has velcro pieces as a second measure. I carry safety pins and an extra trash bag to cover up the gaps between the velcro on that side if it rains. If this zipper had worked, I was otherwise pretty happy with the specs and design of the tent. Easy to set up, and the extra little packing bag with straps was satisfying and handy. If you’re not in urgent need of a tent I’d say you should take a chance on this one, but be mindful of the rain fly zippers. And don’t store anything in the upper side pockets that will hurt when it falls down on you. =]

Great tent for family camping; integrated bag is really convienent
I purchased this tent for a family campout and it worked great. Plenty of storage pockets inside and I really liked the all-screen upper and huge rain fly. No issues during our trip. I looked around quite a bit and this seemed like a good compromise between hardcore/backpacking and gigantic/heavy car tent. Likes: + all screen upper - we are in TX so the heat can be somewhat intense + very roomy inside + huge rain fly - covers the tent almost down to the ground so should hold up against heavy rains. Also extends out from both doors to make a big covered area on each side, great for leaving your shoes, etc... outside and keeping dry/no dew in the morning + very easy to put up - two people make it easier but one can without difficulty + integrated bag MUCH easier to use than if separate. Rolling up into the bag and clipping the straps made storing the tent super quick. Nothing worse than desperately looking for a separate tent bag and wondering if lost, then never quite getting the thing rolled up to easily fit - integrated bag eliminates both of these Dislikes + not much to say here other than it's a little big and maybe a bit too heavy for backpacking Other - I was not able to find a footprint for the tent so ordered a tarp slightly smaller than the tent. This is key as you want water to go under the tarp, not the tent

Worked wekk
I love how small this tent breaks down for the size that it is. It has plenty of room for 2 and I can easily sit up without hitting my head the vestibules are a little small compared to some of my other tents but they still have enough room to keep a 75l pack underneath them leaving enough room to crawl in and out. My first night in it it withstood a thunder storm with 45 mph wind I was dry and the tent wasnt damaged.

Floor lining is thin
Not sure how the floor lining will hold up. I bought a heavy duty tarp to reinforce. So far so good :)

Leaks in moderate rain
It rained about 1/2 inch during my initial test. I posted two pictures one of the rain fly where you can see a wet spot on the fly and one of the inside of the tent where you can see the outline of where it leaks then drips on the inside of the tent. I really wanted to love this tent. The set up and stake out points are amazing was the best tent I have owned until I found out it leaks. Unfortunately I will have to return and find something else.

Easy setup, packs surprisingly small
Easy setup! The 4 person cross canyon packs just as small as my old 2 person Eureka and not much heavier. 100% happy with the purchase so far.

Spacious and good value
First car camping tent we've purchased. Have always dual purposed our backpacking tents so this tent seemed HUGE for us. This is not a bad thing as the kids are getting bigger and the extra room was welcomed. Would recommend just for the sanity. Nit picky things I would change: the vestibule door is a bit annoying when you want to keep it open (have to unhook from 2 stakes), I'm not in love with the roll up bag (prefer a traditional bag so I can put the stake bag and the pole bag in when tent is up), stakes are kinda weak (you will need to buy stronger stakes if you camp on hard ground). Overall though it was a good shelter for our road trip!

Okay, but not great
I've been using it a lot since last summer. It's a decent tent, but needs a redesign. The tent vestibule sucks. In order to open it all the way, you have to unpeg two pegs. So f$&#ing annoying. So there is no way to secure the flap because it won't reach the tiedown unless you unpeg it. Also the zipper has a lining that I can only assume is designed to get stuck in the zipper. I've cut it out with a knife. I curse that zipper with all my heart. The bag it comes with is garbage. Totally garbage. I've tossed it. You'll never really get the tent back into it, and it falls apart, and it's not weather proof at all. I got a dry bag, which is perfect, durable and good for tossing into the canoe. It really should come with a footprint, but no. The tent does hold up in bad weather pretty good, with large plastic pegs for sand. The stays are well placed if you need to lash it down from a squal etc. It's roomy for a double mattress, and an excellent tent for one person on a long canoe trip or car camping. The interior corner pockets are so useless as to be a joke. Nothing stays in them but earplugs. Seriously, please hire me to consult on your tent designs. Give be budget and manufacturering parameters and I'll help you out. Truly great products are so close at hand...
