Excellent beginner/trial tent
Last year I decided I wanted to start camping. I had not been camping since I was a teen w/my parents decades ago. I wanted to get into the hobby cheap, but not so cheap as to ruin the experience. Just to see if I really would enjoy it or if the nostalgia would wear off fast. I used this tent several times this year and don't regret it one bit. In the pros column: * Plenty of space for a single person. I was able to fit a camping cot, my camping chair, and a 25 gallon bin (as a nightstand) in the tent with enough room to move around. It was snug, but comfortable. * The tent held up to moderate rain on two of my trips - no water got inside. Though there was little wind to drive the rain. * The mostly netting body with the rain fly providing privacy meant that the tent remained relatively cool. But it was still comfortable down into the mid-30s F. And the cons: * The provided stakes were not of the best quality and were a challenge to use in the very rocky sites I went to in the West. * While the tent could remain cool, in direct sunlight on a desert day, it would not. The lone window on the front door meant there was little chance of a cross breeze helping matters much. * Setting up as a solo camper did take some time - definitely not the 5 minutes as advertised. Closer to 15 minutes. * The domed walls do cut down on the usable floor space inside the tent when not sleeping/resting directly on the ground. * Trying to get the tent to fit into the original, machine packed bag, is an exercise in futility. I simply bought a 25 gal. tote to carry the tent, rain fly and ground tarp in. Honestly, for a year's worth of usage to see if I really was going to keep camping, this was the ideal tent. A lot of the negatives on the list are more due to the style of camping I intended to use vs. the style of camping the tent targets. This is more of a heavier, multi-person, backpacking tent whereas I set out to car-camp as a solo person. I have since replaced this tent with a far more expensive, far heavier, and roomier tent for my 2nd season. But this tent fulfilled it's purpose. It let me know camping is something I am enjoying for the hobby it is, and not the nostalgia of years past.

Good beginner tent
Bought this tent looking for an easy set up tent, big enough for 2 - 4 adults. I was not disappointed. (I have not actually camped in this tent, just a test setup). Assembly was quick and somewhat easy with 1 adult, probably 5-10 minutes. I didn’t see the directions until after it was up, but they aren’t the greatest. The top clip came broken and unusable, but a small carabiner was a good quick fix. I’m 6’ and could easily walk around without hitting my head. 3 of 4 sides are mesh and seem very breathable and let in a lot of light. The rain guard made it surprisingly dark and was thicker than I expected. I like that it sits on the exposed tent poles rather than on the actual tent, which should help rain from soaking in. The tub bottom/floor paired with a decent tarp should help as well. 2 queen air mattress fit snug, with about a foot left in front. The side pouches and shelf on top are a nice touch. Tear down was equally easy, 5-10 minutes, and folds up nicely. I did have to re-roll the tent to get it to fit back into the bag, but it was fairly simple. Overall, this seems like a pretty good and sturdy tent. A little disappointed with the broken clip, but not enough to return it.

Coleman sundome, 6person tent. I set it up & hosed it. No leaks. Took a bit to set up, with my teen. The guy lines are what takes up most of the time(with any tent). Tho the pole links dont seem to stay together while trying to manuver them. It is a bit more convenient with them being preattached at 2 corners. Will update in a mnth or so after we actually take it camping.

Disappointment
We got this for my teen who tent camps several times per year, and needed to replace their Coleman sundome (lesson learned to dry your tent thoroughly before storing). Amazon showed this as a newer version. The only real appeal was more headroom otherwise we would have stayed with the sundome. Now wishing we had, even with that. The pre-attached poles are more of a hindrance than a help. Took longer to set-up than the sundome. When I read that they were pre-attached I didn't realize that they couldn't be detached. Makes hanging it to dry a pain. The teen also isn't a fan of the rainfly design, but that may be a personal preference. To be fair and give a positive, it has made it through two camping weekends doing its job; one weekend where there was a downpour and the other where it rained everyday.

Plenty of space for 2 people!
We bought this tent that is rated for 6 ppl, mainly for extra space & storage when my boyfriend and I go camping! It’s plenty spacious for us and it was well worth the money. This is our favorite tent yet. Happy Camping!!

Warm season - not 3 season -- 3 sides are mesh from about 2 ft up.
The good: kept us dry in a light rain (not sideways or strong). Very fast setup as others mentioned. Very stable when set up correctly. The bad, the temps dropped into the 40s (or perhaps a bit below), and we were very cold. This tent in my opinion is warm or mild weather only, not cold below 50. Breeze will come in the sides and warmth will not remain due to the heavy use of mesh. The other bad is that the tent is very tightly wrapped up on delivery in the case, the case is not very strong, and it is extremely hard to get the tent back into the case. I can see how the tiny case benefits the manufacturer in China by limiting the space needed in shipping containers. I don't think the customer experience is a part of that calculation, and a new case is needed if the tent is kept. Due to the cold weather issue, I wrestled a long time with the case and submitted a return. In short, if you car camp and don't need a lot of space (2 adults max IMO), not much standing room or storage space, camp in weather above 50, and plan to use an old duffle bag for storage, this may be the tent for you.

Not waterproof
It was a good tent until it rained. Water came in at the seam where the front logo panel meets the door. The fly seams are welded/taped, but the main tent seams are not. It did hold up to really intense winds, but a tent that leaks that promises not to leak is pretty lame. I’m returning it.

good for summer only due to extensive mesh interior
Small package, light weight, suitable for canoe camping, big enough for two people only, perfect for one with gear, easy set up, decent 3/4 length fly, big door and extra height, and looks good. The one tie down for the fly wasn't sewn in so needed fixing, that sums up the quality, which is 3.5 out of 5. LOOK CLOSELY at the photos of the interior tent, you need to know that the walls are mostly mesh, only the front door is fabric, this means the WIND BLOWS right through this tent, thus it is strictly for summer use ! Its a strange design. Dont pay more than $90 for this tent, as you can find much better for a bit more, that would include all fabric interior with zips to vent should you choose, this tent provides no options. UPDATE: As for it leaking, it is perfectly waterproof, had this tent out in a complete deluge and it was dry inside. After camping for a weekend I realized how poor it is that the front door is the only opening, so if you hear something outside behind the tent, you can't open a window to see what it is - BIG design flaw. But I still like the tent overall.

Awesome tent
We're a bit spoiled, so we use this 6 person tent for 2-4 people only most of the time. Never tried 6. Fits easy 4 with 2 double beds. Love how tall the middle of the tent goes, so we can change our clothes standing up. Waterproof so far after 6 uses.

Built-In Poles Broken On Two Tents
I was so excited for this tent and so disappointed!! The first tent I bought had a broken clip that holds the built-in pole to the tent (first photo). I bought another one while returning the first, thinking it was just a one-off problem, but the 2nd tent had two broken clips (2nd and 3rd photo). I saw so many good reviews so I was super bummed that this tent didn’t work out.

Acampé con mi familia por 4 días y en ningún momento me decepcionó el producto. Solo tuve que reforzar los 4 puntos de fijación en el suelo con varillas mas largas y gruesas por causa de un aeronazo, queda perfecto para un colchón inflable queen size
