Loose lid
The media could not be loaded. I love the round beautiful design and Hario's trusted quality BUT the lid is too lose and strainer is hard to clean. I still like it so keep using it but always with little regret that I didn't return it.

Beautiful minimalistic design
Hario is such a fantastic brand! We own many of their products. This one is our first teapot from them. The size is enough for 2-3 servings. The stainless steel filter basket insert strains out most tea particles. It is easy to remove with a slight tug. The basket sits on the inside top edge of the teapot. The glass lid then fits securely on top of the basket edge or the teapot after removing the basket. The spout is small and directly the tea nicely without interrupting flow. The glass teapot come with two stickers attached that are easily removed in warm soapy water. It also has a non-removable label in Japanese and English. Two critiques: the instructions are entirely in Japanese so you need to know how to make tea and the glass is quite thin. Unfortunately, I do not expect it to last long in our home with many children but we will enjoy it while it lasts. If your home does not include clumsy people or children, it will likely last longer. Overall, we really love the simple yet elegant design of this teapot and are enjoying using it.

The Art of Tea from an Herbalist perspective
The media could not be loaded. I already have the HARIO Coffee Dripper and Pot Set which is simply wonderful. My local tea shop only uses Hario products for making tea. I love the Japanese design of the pour over, it’s a quality brand and I have a few more of their pieces on my wish list. As an herbalist who lives the art of tea marking, this is a stunning piece. I either purchase blend from a fellow herbalist or create my own. While water is boiling I set up the tea pot, at the same time is like a nice break in the day to savory the process and clear my mind. Then when making the tea I take in the beautiful aromas of the herbs. The Hario Leaf Tea Pot model CHC-70T is a new product release. Features: 1. 700ml or 23.67 oz or about 3 cups 2. Hot water safe, however do not place on stove burner rather use a tea kettle to boil water then pour into this tea pot. 3. Dishwasher safe 4. Glass pot and lid made in Japan Stainless Steel strainer made in China

Worried the glass lid is going to break, but lovely otherwise!
This is a good overall, if you're making 2-4 cups of tea. I love that the strainer is open all the way down -- I've had a couple bodum tea pots that oddly don't have strainer holes all the way down to the bottom, meaning that if you're only making 2 cups of tea, the water can't fully reach the leaves! That said, I'm worried by the loose glass lid... it's just screaming to fall off on a "down to the last drop" pour, an then shatter on the counter top. The handle design is also a little awkward in the hand, but nothing terrible. Despite these small concerns, it's still my new daily for loose tea!

An Elegant Teapot
I love the shape of this small, 4-cup size glass teapot. It is virtually unbreakable and with the quality Japanese stainless steel filter, an excellent cup of tea can be brewed at any time. The filter goes low enough in the pot that it is possible to brew just a single cup of tea. I enjoy watching how the color of the tea advances to the strength I want. Everything is wonderful about this teapot. The only problem for me is that the directions for use are only in Japanese. Even going on the website did not help. Four stars instead of five.

23 ounce glass teapot, great for brewing loose tea leaves, dishwasher safe
This is a small cute glass teapot. The glass is thick and sturdy enough for careful use, but don't drop it. The instruction sheet inside the box is all in Japanese, but there are English instructions printed on the box itself (see photo). Do not put this pot on the stove (or even in the microwave). Boil your water in a kettle and pour it into the pot to brew and serve. The large steel filter lets your loose tea leaves expand and lets the hot water freely circulate around the tea leaves to optimize the flavor of the tea. The clear glass pot lets you see how dark the tea is getting to judge its strength (though I mostly use a timer instead of guessing). 700ml capacity is about 23 ounces or enough for medium sized tea mugs. The glass pot does not insulate, but Japanese-style teas usually brew in a minute or less, so your tea is still very hot after brewing. The box says dishwasher safe, but be careful since the glass isn't super thick.

A Beautiful Tea Pot
This is a graceful all-glass teapot with a large mesh insert for loose tea. Add your loose tea (or bags for that matter) and pour in enough boiling water for up to four cups of tea and let it steep the desired amount before removing the mesh tea holder. We like ours strong, so usually don't even remove the tea basket. The only thing wrong with this teapot is that the instructions are in Japanese. But then, it's a teapot, so it really doesn't matter. Boil the water in a tea kettle on the stove or in a large measuring cup in your microwave. (We like to use a Pyrex four-cup measuring cup in the microwave so we get don't have to worry about getting the amount of water right after the fact.) Meanwhile, add a spoon of tea per cup plus one extra for the pot. When the water boils, pour. Let it steep. Enjoy. We love seeing the tea color so the clear glass is especially appealing to us. We go through a ridiculous amount of Harney & Sons Hot Cinnamon Spice Tea in the winter and being able to buy it loose really cuts down on the tea bill - for us, the pot pays for itself. This pretty pot would also make a nice gift. Recommended.

デザインに難あり要注意
以前ハリオのガラスポットのシリーズの同容量で別型の「ピュア」を使っていましたが、落として割ってしまったのでこちらを購入しました。 使い勝手などは特に問題無いと思いますが、デザインに問題ありでした。 側面にロゴと「直火にはかけられません」という注意書きが彫ってあります。 シールではないのでどうにもできずがっかりです。 「ピュア」にはこのようなものはなかったですし、こちらの商品画像を見返しても茶漉しと内容物によって分からないものしかなく、自分の確認不足というわけでも無いので尚の事悲しいです。 完全に透明で、なんのデザインも入っていないガラスポットをお求めの方は注意された方が良いです。

フォルムは可愛いくて文句なしだがフタが重い
全体的な形はバランスも良くとても気に入ってます。ただボディの質感とフタの質感がアンバランスで違和感があり以外に重いのが難点。注ぐ際には必ず手を添えないと落ちてしまいます。それに中のステンレス製の茶漉しは丸く形作る為に折り返してある部分があるのですが、そこに茶葉がかなり入り込み洗う時に手間がかかる。まあそれでもガラスのポットは茶の色をキレイに見せてくれるし形は可愛いので見ていると癒される感があって少々使い勝手がイマイチでもOKかなと思って使っています。

フタ、落ちます
以前使っていたハリオリーフポットの縁が欠けてしまった為購入しました。 前の角タイプはフタを抑えず注げましたが、こちらはフタを抑えないと注ぐ時に、落ちるところが気に入ってません。 透明でキレイなのはどちらも同じなのでずっと使い続けたいです。

デザインが台無し…本体に注意書きは必要か？
他の方も書いておられましたが、本体に薄いグレーで直火禁止の注意書きがあります。 直火にかけて破損させてしまった人のクレームへの申し開きを立たせるためでしょうか？必要ないです。目立たない文字で書いてあるより、購入時に目立つようなシールか何かで注意喚起すれば十分ではないでしょうか。 せめて底面に入れるとか・・・改善を望みます。形も質感も大変よろしいのに、せっかくのデザインを損なってしまっていて残念です。デザインした人も承服したくなかったのではと思ってしまいました。

紅茶用に
製造過程で出来るかもしれない気泡みたいなのを一箇所発見。 なんかきにはなる部分です。まあ割れはしないと信じて使います。 それ以外は不満無いです。 この形状、一応ジャンピングし対流してはいます。 なので家は茶漉し使わないかな〜？ 蓋は茶漉し有りでまぁ収まり良いようで、う〜ん？ 蒸らし蓋には使えるかな。 形はコロンとして好みですから、買ってよかったです。
