Tough shape to transfer, but definitely cute!

You'd think there isn't a whole lot to say, it's a cookie cutter, right? Here are my pros and cons: Pros: Nice thick metal that won't bend as easy as some cheap cookie cutters. Shape is well made, exact, definitely can tell it's a unicorn. (see photo) Unicorn is a good size, about 5 or 6" wide. (see photo) Perfect for the little girl (or in my case adult girl who loves unicorns) Cons: I wanted to make unicorns facing the other direction. No biggie, i flipped it over. That side isn't as sharp, but worked just fine. I rolled my dough thicker anticipating this would give me issues, and it did. There are too many delicate parts to this one. I had a super hard time getting these transferred to a cookie sheet. They always ended up without a leg or a tail. TIP: roll out your dough directly on parchment or a silicone baking sheet and lift up the excess dough, that way the shapes are already on what you're going to bake them on -- no finicky transfer needed. I'm sure this will rust, most of them do over time. You just have to be careful with them.

Laminitic Unicorn - I made him a jumper, hunter and dressage horse

Very cute. Well made. Easy to make cookies. Corners of the cookie get a little stuck in the edges, but with a careful hand its not a problem. Cookie shapes were fun to decorate and fun to give. I cut the horns off and re-positioned the legs to make jumper, hunter and dressage horses. I work with & friends with people in horse sales. It was easy and fun to make the laminitic unicorn into a top sport horse! The shape is fun to play with.. if you're a horse person you will have no trouble creating the following: The Stopper (or could be Reiner), The Rollkur, The Careful Jumper, The Grand Hunter Champion, and The Sloppy Jumper w/ or w/o the Hollow Back! TIPS: With a knife you can remove the horn and the free flowing mane. After the mane was pulled I used a + sign icing dispenser to create plaiting (braids). For the Hunters I cleaned up the tail and positioned it downward. Lots of fun with some creativity. You too can be a horse cookie trainer!

Cute and Affordable

It arrived quickly and was packaged well. It’s adorable! I bought this to use with clay to cut out unicorn-shaped ornaments and hangers, and it’ll work perfectly for that. The bag that the cookie cutter came in also had two simple cookie recipes printed on it, which is a nice surprise. It does say very clearly on the packaging that it is NOT dishwasher safe, so if you’ve run it through the dishwasher and found rust issues... you’ve been warned. I have no problm hand washing this with a small brush and a sponge.

Super cute!

Love the shape and durability of these cutters. It holds up perfectly in the dishwasher and shows no signs of rusting. The only small criticism I have is the size of the horn. My daughter is obsessed with unicorns but not so much eatting. My solution is to make unicorn shaped anything. I have found that with any bread product if I'm not extremely careful the horn tears off without coming out of the cutter and what's a unicorn without it's horn?? A pony doesn't seem to be exciting enough to eat .

Needed stretched out

Needed to stretch out the cutter to look a little more like a horse and to make it more usable But a really cute unicorn when finished!

Perfect for the kitchen and Play-Doh!

It's a unicorn cookie cutter! What else could you ask for?!?!?! I purchased 2 of these. My 4-year-old daughter uses hers for play-doh (picture of her creation included). I purchased the other one for cookies. I haven't used it to make cookies yet, but I have made some adorable unicorn peanut butter & jelly sandwiches! It is a LARGE cookie cutter. I have to roll out the slices of bread quite a bit in order to make it fit, but it works great!!!

Works well as a fondant cutter, but NOT DISHWASHER SAFE

Worked really well to cut fondant shapes, however, unfortunately, i didn't read the "not dishwasher safe" in the description and it didn't come w a warning, so it got ruined after one run through the dish washer. Pretty crappy quality if gets rusty after one washing- disappointed. But worked well if you can remember to hand wash.

True to pictures advertised

Works great, very detailed. I didn't give enough thought to the type of cookie and how much time I would need to carefully remove the cookie from the more intricate smaller detailed areas (like around the head) so if purchasing keep that in mind. Works great to sucker a small child into eating a unicorn shaped pb&j ????????‍♀️

Beautiful, but rusty, no returns

Beautiful shapes, bigger than I expected. I tried washing/soaking before use and they rusted immediately. Perhaps they’re not made of stainless steel, my bad for not reading the description properly. Unfortunately, no returns allowed. I guess I’ll be throwing them out.
