Final product good after hardware problems
My first order came with no hardware. So I had to go through a return and reorder. Once we got a set with hardware, the bolt was far too long to install on our playset. We ended up having to get a shorter bolt to properly install. I still have 4 stars because the end product came out okay after some annoyances.

I read the reviews prior to purchasing and was a bit worried when many of them commented on how small the wheel was. Upon receiving the item, it is not large by any means but I feel as if it is the perfect size. We have 2 year old twin boys who absolutely love it. We installed this on the fort part of their swing set and they love to pretend they are pirates on their ship. Item was very easy to install and is can be installed in just minutes! The overall quality is great and I would purchase again in a heartbeat! Great product at a great price!

Love our new Pirate's wheel for the Grandkids!
Just installed this wheel on our existing Swing-N-Slide play set, updating the set for the Grandchildren. Super easy to install. I installed it in upper fort area. This required that I use a wood bore (paddle bit) to drill a hole so that hardware would be long enough to attach wheel. Use 3/4" paddle bit and the carriage bolt fits just fine. Drill 5/16" hole for the carriage bolt, and use 1/2" socket to tighten the nut. I like the yellow cap that hides the nut.

Be the Captain of Your Own Boat
This is exactly what I was wanting for a kid's play wheel and my 4 yr old son loves it for pretending he has "Bucky" from Jake and the Neverland Pirates, or it is a race car. Seems to be heavy plastic and made well, so they should hold up to a lot of use on our tree house. Simple hole in a 2 X 4, put the carriage bolt through, spacer washer and nut before snapping on the plastic cap. Took less than 5 minutes and he was playing on it.

Installation could be improved
Manufactured well, easy to assemble. The bushing inside the wheel moved causing the wheel to wobble. I removed the bolt, bushing, washer and nut. I replaced those parts with a 2 1/2 in long 1/2 in bolt, washer and locking nut, drilled hole, installed wheel, bolt, washer, lock nut. Operates easily, does not wobble.

Looks smaller in person.
Wheel is smaller that it looks in the pictures. The kids like it but I was disappointed in the size. 4 stars considering Home Depot sells the exact same model for twice the price.

Great addition to kids' fort!
Great addition to kids' fort. They love it. It did arrive, however, without screws for attaching it. But easy and cheap fix at hardware store. (The seller offered to ship to me when I contacted them, in fairness to them!)

Loved it
Loved this accessory. It was easy to install and little hands turned it easily and smoothly. It appeared to be very durable however I can not really say as my grand-kids loved it so much that when they returned home after a 3 week visit their mother removed it from the swing set to put on the bunk beds at home.

installed this wheel to our boys play structure. Easy to install but didnt stay attatched long. Probably due to constant turning. Vrrrooooom! Needs to be reattatched for more play.

Missing pieces
The wheel itself is fairly good and as expected but the bag it was received in was open inside the box and two pieces were missing.
