exceptionally sturdy
My grandkids love this but you will need extra support at the top otherwise it will drag on the ground. We added a 2x4 at the top because as it is it will go sideways.

OK, but with a lot of problems
This is a well designed product (except for the items below). The design of the seats and handles is superior to all the others out there, HOWEVER: The swing arrived in a box that was patched up with a lot of tape. Upon opening it I found that the swing itself was undamaged, but all the hardware (what was left of it) was loose and rattling around in the box. I don't know if this was an item that had been returned with some of its parts missing, or if the packaging was just inadequate. I determined that I had all the parts I needed except for the 6" bolts that pivot the three parts of the swing. Fortunately I had suitable bolts on hand; most of the missing parts were associated with the attachment of the chains to the swings structure. I didn't care about that as I was replacing a swing that had all the needed attachments still intact. So, DESIGN FLAW #1: The supplied chains are cheap and flimsy. I would never use them and used the heavy duty chains salvaged from the swing that was replaced. The supplied chains also had no rubbery coating to prevent finger pinches, the salvaged chains did. DESIGN FLAW #2: The two pivot points that attach the seats to the handle/footrest are what failed on the old swing being replaced, and this swing would probably fail in the same manner. The design problem is that there are two pivot pins (5/16" bolts) that bear directly on the thin plastic of the seat assembly. This puts these pivot points under a lot of concentrated pressure which eventually wears through the plastic, and the swing falls apart. What I did was to make some brass bushings out of 1/4" bass pipe from the hardware store so that all of the movement while the swing is swinging is between the steel bolt and the brass bushing, not between the bolts and the soft plastic. The manufacturer should consider this improvement in the design. In short: well designed swing seat and handles, poorly designed pivot mechanism, inadequate chains with no pinch protection, totally inadequate packaging.

Some inconveniences in assembly but otherwise works great!
This was one of the better weight rated riders that we found online. Unfortunately you need to have some spare 2x4s on hand and a saw to cut them with prior to install. This wasn't really a problem for me so much as an inconvenience. Also you need to make sure to have your own screws as well to secure the 2x4s to the support beam.(4x4 in my case) I dont understand why they could just include the screws, they already have the other hardware. I am happy with the end result of the swing and it is definitely being enjoyed. I would recommend this even with the weird lack of simple hardware and other installation inconveniences.

Sturdy and the kids love it
The kids love it, it is sturdy. We already had the bracket set up as this was a replacement. The only issue we had was in assembly. The holes to connect the seat were not drilled out on one side of the handled part. This could be a big problem for a person who does not have a drill on hand. We used the longer chains from our old glider as the chains that came with were shorter and our 4 year old could not get up onto it. All is well now, everyone can get on it and fly high.

Great swing
First I want to start with my kids live the swing. They don’t really use the regular swings anymore. The only reason I gave 4 starts instead of 5 was the chain was to short so the swing was to high off the ground. But I would recommend this swing.

The kids love this!
My husband probably wanted to kill me for the installation, but it was worth it. He used 4by4 and attached to our wood swing set. My grandchildren, 4 to 10 love it. My 25 year old daughter has even been on it ( I tried it out myself too). It teaches the kids to work together to get it going. Great product, especially during a pandemic.

Buying combination items isn’t always the best way
I only rated 2 because my grandkids are afraid to use it now because of the nightmare with the brackets to hold it that was purchased separately needless to say they had more fun when it was on ground now it’s up and crooked because of brackets their afraid of it you can see the review for brackets it explains all
