Phone charge gambling
Very bad product. The actual charging spot is maybe the size of a dime, unless the phone is precisely on the spot, it doesn't charge. Good luck if the phone is on vibrate cause that knocks it off that dime spot and charging stops. The charge indicator? It's false, confirm with the phone that it's receiving a charge and not on the clock display. I've had iHome products before and surprised at the quality of this one. Okay, it's not expensive, but after a short time mine is headed to e-waste.

Very simple Qi wireless charging alarm clock, perfect for a hotel or rental
This is a barebones bedside alarm clock with a wireless charging dock for your phone and a dot matrix display for the current time. It has a battery backup and alarm feature. And... that's about it! All of those functions work as you'd expect - the wireless charging charges (not particularly quickly, but it does work), the time displays, and the alarm.... alarms. I'm not sure I'd select this as my day to day nightstand clock. For one, the Qi charging seemed a little slower than some other devices I've used in the past? Could just be my imagination, but I was a little disappointed in the power output my phone was receiving. For two, I also don't love the dot matrix display - it's low profile and unique, but a little too unobtrusive for me. I would have preferred a more classic seven segment display. I also would have liked some sort of wakeup light - I've been using one for the last few years and it's been a game changer for waking up refreshed, so for my own use I'd rather trade some size and bulk for that feature. A wired USB charging port would also have been greatly appreciated. But if I was outfitting an AirBnB or a hotel with a standard bedside alarm clock, you could do a lot worse than this - it's small and won't take up a lot of space on a nightstand, and will provide your guests with a way to charge their phone even if they didn't bring a charger. Simple and easy to maintain, and won't lose the time if they unplug it to use an outlet for their own purposes.

Modest, Basic Wireless Qi Charger Clock Combo "Gets The Job Done!"
To avoid any confusion as to the product description herein under review, the actual product description as posted by the seller on his Amazon marketing webpage is: iHome Digital Alarm Clock with Wireless Charging, iPhone Charger and Samsung Charger with Programmable Snooze, Dimmable Display, and Battery Backup. In my ongoing quest, and near obsession, to find the perfect Qi technology-infused smartphone wireless charger, this one perhaps brings the total up to six I've recently acquired and tested. This includes automobile chargers as well, as by now these electro-magnetic technology Qi (pronounced "chee") endowed chargers have invaded the mobile vehicle market as well - - and their convenience while driving around can't be beat! In so far as wireless chargers go, this one is about middle-of-the-road to low end in price and practical usability. There's an important caveat to note: that being the trend to combine the convenient charging benefit together with the bonus of including a digital, LED alarm clock for implied dual functional use in the bedroom - - ostensibly for overnight charging (see more on this important, potentially harmful latter fact below). This particular product contains the charging and clock duo and is very basic in its features and functions. It's very small and it's dimensions are: 5.04" x 5.2" x 2.9". It comes with no other "bells-and-whistles" options such as external USB charging ports for optional wired charging with cables, ambient night wake light and USB type C input/output port. For me, I dislike the "dot matrix" format for the LED clock numerals. They're hard to read - - even though the light intensity is adjustable up to three levels of brightness. Some users prefer non-intrusive light intensities - - especially during periodic nighttime sleep awakenings - - but I prefer a solid-numeral format that I can easily read whenever I wish to know the time, be it day or night. Regarding my foregoing "potentially harmful" warning, keep in mind that experts note that keeping a Li ion battery phone on constant charge after it's been fully charged can eventually damage the battery - - as well as damaging other components in the smartphone's circuitry. That's why I never leave my phone on charge overnight on my bedside end table. Those same experts I sourced go on to state that a phone should only be recharged when the battery level is between 30-70% charged. By observing this formula, your phone should enjoy optimal performance during its lifetime of use. I'm assigning a 4 star rating for this product as I'm docking 1 star for the dot matrix digital LED numbers application that I don't like. The fact there are none of the above stated optional benefits I attribute to the relatively modest price-point and therefore don't merit an additional rating penalty - - as the probable buyer benefit of the lowered cost being the result of the lack of such add-on "luxuries." I hope this review has been informative, insightful and most of all, HELPFUL in your decision to possibly select this product.

Nice clock!
I am mostly pleased with my purchase. The wireless charging feature is convenient and works well with my iPhone and Samsung devices. The programmable snooze and dimmable display are also great features, allowing me to customize the clock to my needs. The battery backup is a plus, ensuring that I never miss an alarm, even during power outages. One standout feature for me is the red LED display, which helps with night vision and doesn't disrupt my sleep. However, the display could be brighter, and the buttons could be more responsive. Despite these minor issues, I still recommend this product to those looking for a compact and convenient charging solution with a unique LED display.

Worked Great for Two Weeks
This worked great for two weeks charging my phone and then it just stopped charging. Troubleshot if every way possible but it wouldn’t work. The clock and alarm continued to work but no matter what it wouldn’t charge my phone, which is an iPhone 12 Pro Max. We tried an iPhone 13 Pro Max and it still wouldn’t charge. Bummer but it was really great for the first two weeks we used it.

Charger works good - Clock is comfortably dim to not wake you up
I got this mainly to use the wireless charger and as a secondary reason with a clock. It ends up that the clock I love even more because it's very readable at night and doesn't wake me up (other clocks have a bright display). The "dot matrix" pattern on the numbers make is so it stays much dimmer - Though I prefer a white display rather than the red. As for the charger portion - it charges just as fast as my Apple branded one and can charge my iPhone as well as my AirPods. I also have an Apple Watch and have that connected to one of the other USB ports. I haven't tried using the alarm function yet - old habits die hard and I use my iPhone to wake me up instead.
