WE HOPE TO FIT IT AT NIGHT WITH WIFE ON BIKE. THERE ARE ONLY 2 PLACE ON HER HELMET. MANUFACTURER SHOULD KNOW THAT ADJUSTMENTS ARE NEEDED AS RIDER WILL BE POINTING LIGHT INTO TURNS WITH HIS VISION SKILLS. GREAT LIGHTS TOO BAD HELMET MOUNT HAS NO ADJUSTMENTS

good clip, short strap

This strap provides the clip necessary for mounting your light to your helmet or whatever else you might want to mount it to. The clip itself fits my Beamer snugly and has padding on the bottom to prevent it from damaging the helmet. I only wish the velcro strap had been much longer and more padded material had been provided. I had to improvise a bit to get the results I wanted with a longer piece of velcro and a piece of foam. Otherwise, this is a good product at a good price.

Almost good

The clip fits the light securely. But the strap wraps around the light so you can't simply just unclip the light when you don't need it. You need to remove the entire assembly. This defeats the purpose. In my case, this is an even bigger pain because the strap is barely long enough to fit the holes in my helmet.

just what I needed

Although it's not listed in the "compatible with" description, the helmet mount works great for my Planet Bike 3044 Blaze 1-Watt LED Headlight. I understand the larger size of the light can cause trouble with the release mechanism? But the way it sits on my helmet, there's a gap in the helmet that allows access to the release. I've got it installed on a gyro helmet with no trouble whatsoever. So glad I ordered it!

Planet Bike helmet bracket

Bought a Planet Bike Beamer light but it only came with a handle bar mount. I already have a Beamer light mounted on the handle bars to light the way in front of me and I needed a light on my helmet to light up where I was looking to be on turns before actually turning. This mount works great with the beamer light!

So far so good....I did have to cut the snap off the end of the strap but I expected that.
