Works great in my Weber Q and I have hose to spare!
After seeing I could get this 10' hose cheaper than the Weber branded 6' hose I opted for the extra length. I simply keep the additional length of hose neatly coiled and zip tied under the Weber Q's Stationary Cart. I have the hose routed up neatly to the grill and all is well. I should add a picture of it all. I will so check back for one. A couple of notes: Although the item pictured shows this as having a male adapter to the tank, know it actually a female tank adapter. I am not sure why the picture is wrong. In fact, even the packaging of the hose shows the wrong picture on the outside of the box! Just know if you order this item, you're going to get the female tank adapter. You may not have noticed, but if you look closely at the valve on your propane tanks you will see the valve is threaded on the outside to accept female (like this hose really is) couplings AND threaded on the inside to accept male couplings (like what you see pictured incorrectly). So I guess if you actually received one or the other you would be ok. It just makes me nervous when the pictures don't actually jive with what is being sold. Secondly, I would suggest shutting the tank off when the propane is not in use. Why risk a chewed through, dry rotted, or leaky hose to a wasted tank of gas (and a possible hazard).

It’s true in every single area of life — good or bad
Devotional image from Rick Warren “We capture every thought and make it give up and obey Christ” (2 Corinthians 10:5b NCV). Here’s the secret to temptation: Don’t fight it. Just refocus. Whatever you resist persists. Did you know that in the Bible, not once are you told to resist temptation? We are told to resist the Devil, and that’s a whole different issue. But the key to overcoming temptation is not to push back. It’s to change your focus. Whatever gets your attention gets you. The battle for sin always starts in the mind. That’s why the Bible says in Psalm 119:6, “Thinking about your commands will keep me from doing some foolish thing” (CEV). Why? Because if you’re thinking about God’s truth, you’re not thinking about the less important stuff. It’s true in every single area of life — good or bad. If you focus on godly things, it’s going to pull you that direction. If you focus on the stuff that’s at the movies and in magazines, it’s going to pull you that direction. Whatever you focus on gets your attention. Whatever gets your attention is going to get you. The key is to just change your mind.

Use pliers when mating this to a propane appliance
I was sceptical about buying this hose due to several reviews stating that it leaked and often blocked the gas flow either initailly or after some time. But I went ahad and purchsed it becuse it was a long hose and low price. And upon first using it I had the problems as stated above at the stove end (not the plastic coupler end). Then I discovered the problem and corrected it. The stove end has a valve in it that blocks the gas flow until you mate it with a stove or other propane appliannce. This valve is a small plunger that needs to be pushed in- just like on the small green LP cylinders. It is my guess that this plunger is marginally too short and thus depending on the stove may or may not open upon mating. So if you just finger tighten this knurled connector it may not be enough; you need to use some pliers to get the extra quarter thread of lateral travel and to form aa gas tight (leak free) connection.

Both of the appliances are high end coleman as well so it isn't like they are cheap
I bought two of these to run off of a splitter on my bulk propane tank to run my little table top gas grill and stove when camping. They do work well, but i am finding i really have to wrench on them to get them to tighten enough into both of my appliances which is a PITA to be honest. Both of the appliances are high end coleman as well so it isn't like they are cheap. Other than that, these work as described and do work well.

Propane to appliance hose.
I read all the reviews about the hose leaking, the hose bulging, and how it does not hook up to the appliance properly. I hooked it up as soon as I got it and did not have a single problem with it. I'm using this for a lantern on our family camping trip. As my little ones aren't to fond of the dark yet. I was using the 1lb propane containers but they just don't have the size needed to keep the lantern running all night. After the camping trip I will wright an update as to how the hose performed. Update 1-28-15 I have taken this on three separate camping trips now. It works great. Have not had even a hiccup of a problem with the hose. I would recommend this to everyone.

Works great, good value
Pulled it out of the box, connected the brass end to my Stansport Outfitter's regulator (where you would normally connect the small green propane bottle), screwed the large plastic end onto a 20 lb. propane tank, opened the valve and after the air was pushed out of the line my burners fired up nice and strong. Really great to not have to deal with little, expensive, difficult-to-refill propane bottles anymore, plus we can now use the camp stove to cook outside at home if we want. And $22 for a 10' hose is about $7 less than what I found a 5' Coleman hose at Sport Chalet for. Very pleased.

Best Price, fast shipping
I've been using my Weber Baby-Q more and more these days, and the little propane bottles from the hardware store go fast. With a full size propane tank (30 pound- available everywhere) and a custom built stand, I'm good to go for many hours of slow cooking and Bar-B-Que!. The Weber 120 expects you will use this size of tank, and comes equipped with a long hose. Smaller models expect you to use a disposable bottle, but with only the two of us, this makes bar-b-que easy and almost a daily affair. This is a better price than the local hardware store, including shipping.

Stansport hose good, mr heater hose bad
I had bought a mr heater brand here on amazon and returned it to get this stansport hose. What I wanted was a hose that I could hand tighten. The mr heater hose had a hex attachment that went over the hex nut. It was a loose fit and slipped off making the connection to the propane tank extremely slow. I returned it and got this one. What a HUGE improvement. The plastic knob on this is molded attached securely to the nut making it work the way it was intended. I would buy a stansport hose again.

Works with our BBQ but not with the Coleman two burner stove
UPDATE: Apparently the threads on the Coleman regulator were worn out. Bought a replacement regulator and voila! Problem Solved. Changed my review to 5 star since the problem was not with the hose but with the worn out Coleman regulator. Works well with our portable BBQ but doesn't work with our Coleman two burner stove. I've heard others report the same problem with some Coleman products and universal propane appliance hoses. I guess we still need to buy 1lb propane tanks for our Coleman or get a Woods burner stove.

Handy Adapter Hose
No problems with the hose. I used it to connect a propane torch head to a larger tank when I don't need the portability. This is much cheaper than using the small disposable cylinders, especially if you have a high flow torch head that really eats through the gas.

Works great
Use it to run BBQ on 5lbs tank instead of the little 1Lbs ones. Seems well made.
