Works Perfectly!

It does exactly what it's supposed to do, and does it well. I watched their video and had all three of my one pound tanks filled in under ten minutes. I'd suggest doing it on a bench instead of the floor like I did so you can see the little detent that needs to match up on the tank and filler a bit easier, but it can be done either way. When the little ones are full, liquid propane will come out of the bleeder, and it'll go right toward you if you're in the orientation I was. Just so you know.

Nice to have 1lb cylinders for my Big Buddy Heater...and other stuff

Once you get the refill set up dialed in it's very easy to refill the 1lb canisters. Lining up the notch in the cylinder and the refill device was challenging at first. My old eyes didn't help things. But, after a few tries it became easy to do. I am happy with my purchase! Some people have complained about the small size of the allen key required to open and close the refill valve on the cylinders is small and easily lost. I put my calipers on the allen key and it measured 5/64's . At 5/64's this is true. It is small. My solution is to buy a T handle allen wrench which is much larger than a regular allen wrench...and difficult to lose. Something like these below. I'll update my review when I choose one. But until then I'll use the one that it came with. Quick efficient and perfect for my needs

I only ever need one or two 1lb canisters when camping and it's been frustrating as heck to have to keep buying and tossing perfectly good expensive metal containers. This kit works great for solving that issue and it does it smartly Watch the video and read the instructions. Use the proper refillable containers and rock and roll. The fit and finish is great and Everything went together great. 100% will recommend.

Works perfectly and saves you lots of money

This is one of the best items I have purchased in a long time. All of the components are high quality and very easy to use. With the current high price of disposable canisters this is a must have. I also purchased two additional refillable canisters and feel fully prepared to stay warm for quite a while. I highly recommend these products and would definitely purchase them again.

Got tired of disposable tanks, so we decided to give this kit a try...works great, the stand is easy to set up, and is easy to travel with. As with any LP equipment, follow instructions for safety.

Saves money and is way more convenient than disposable propane canisters!

This system is a simple way to reduce the cost of 1 lb. propane bottles since you're using cheaper bulk propane to fill the refillable canisters. Filling the Flame King bottles is pretty simple as long as you keep track of the hex key they send with each canister. I think the design is pretty good, however, there should be a way to make mounting the 20 lb. tank a bit less cumbersome. Some folks may not have the strength to lift the tank high enough to mount upside down on the pedestal legs or to remove it when finished filling the smaller bottles. All-in-all, a good system.

Refillable 1 Pound propane bottle

Using 1 pound disposable propane bottles is expensive. Refilling them is dangerous and illegal. This refillable one is a product that is most welcomed. using 1lb propane now will be economical.

Glad to have this item which ensures a safe way to refill a 1 lb. propane bottle from a 20 lb. tank. The 1 lb. propane bottle that came with this kit is approved for transporting.

Way too expensive for what you get! A simple cheap adaptor does the same thing!
