Great to replace beach tent stakes we misplaced!

Somehow my daughter managed to misplace (or lose) the stakes that came with our little beach tent that we use at baseball games. These are a perfect replacement. They are lightweight enough she can dig them into the ground herself, and the T top makes them easy to pull out. They don't need to be 100% secure because she is sitting in the tent, but it's perfect for baseball games!

Great for frequent campers

If you like to camp a lot like me and with a variety of different tents, these are great! Since there are 12 in the pack you can split them between a few different tents. They are really easy to remove from the ground after you get them in there good and tight the day or days before because of the handle. They give you a stronger hold than the flimsy stakes most tents include.

Great For More Than Tents

These tent stakes are quality all the way. They’re made of thick steel, so they won’t bend like a lot of the cheaper ones to. The sharp points on the end make them easy to get in the ground…even if the ground is frozen. (I used them so secure my holiday airblown decorations, and they worked perfect.). These tent stakes do the job very well. They hold things down very securely. And they don’t pull out of the ground even in high winds. With the attached handles, the tent stakes super easy to pull out…again, even if the ground is frozen. The handles are comfortable to hold and use. I can definitely recommend this set of tent stakes…even if you use them for something other than a tent.

Perfect to replace the cheap ones for Christmas lawn ornaments!

Every year I put up the reindeer in the front yard with the cheap thin pieces of metal (they don't qualify as lawn stakes!!) and every year after the first soft breeze the kids make fun of me as the only deer that end up on the ground around me are the ones in the front yard! These stakes are going to change all of that. As you can see from the images they are thick, strong, sturdy stakes that are going to require a hammer to pound them in and without even having them setup I know they are going to be multiple times better than the ones that came with the reindeer! This will put an end to my embarrassment from my kids and stop me from inventing new ways to use fowl language in front of my kids when I try to pound the old ones in!! All joking aside these are great lawn stakes that could be used for a tent, lawn ornaments or anything else you want to hold to the ground. They are thick, heavy and well build. I'll likely use half of this package for the reindeer and then put the other half in the camping supplies for the corner posts on the tent. I would absolutely recommend these to replace any that you have and would buy them again.

Sturdy, rigid multi-purpose stakes

These are a very useful item, strong and sturdy with a thick plastic clip at the top, one end of which has a hook, or lip, which comes in handy for preventing things from slipping over the nail head. I'll use these for staking down the edge of a rainfly/tarp probably more often than for anything else, and they're good for that because, first, the stake will fit thru the grommets at the edge of the tarp for direct staking (unlike plastic tent stakes), but also because the hook on the plastic head makes them good for holding ropes or guy-lines as well. Most times the ground I'm on is soft enough that I can push these in by hand, but if I'm on dry, hard, or rocky ground, these metal stakes can be driven in with a hammer or mallet as well since the metal head is exposed. I'd be a little careful about striking the surrounding plastic part because a few hammer blows could possibly break it despite its thickness. In addition, like most plastic items, long exposure to sunlight and other outdoor elements will likely make the plastic piece brittle over time, but by then you should have long since gotten your money's worth out of these - and you're still left with sturdy 10" long steel spikes, which can always be used for something!

Awesome upgrade from my aluminum tent stakes

These 10" steel tent stakes are an awesome upgrade to the cheap aluminum ones that came with my tent. Most of my old spikes are already bent from trying to drive them into hard soil. Each one is fairly heavy and thick; I can't see myself bending these on accident. My only minor complaint is that the stickers on the spikes don't peel off cleanly. It'd be nice if I could remove them so they don't rub off when I use these in my yard or at a campsite.

Vastly superior to plastic stakes...

I am highly impressed with these ground stakes. They are SO much sturdier and durable than plastic stakes! They can be used not only as tent stakes, but for many other things as well. I recently used them to hold down a large tarp in my yard and they worked great for that purpose. If the ground is hard or frozen, you can pound these into the ground without too much difficulty, as opposed to plastic stakes which would very likely break if pounded into hard ground. Steel trumps plastic any day of the week!
