Make sure to remove it if leaving it at a bike shop.

This item works perfectly on my 2020 Trek Emonda SLR6 bike. Without this bracket I could not use my Planet Bike Light. The Planet Bike Lights are second to none of all the tail lights with the batteries lasting a long time in flash mode. A bike shop removed this bracket from my bike and forgot to reattach it and so I had to purchase it again. At first I thought someone stole it but that is likely not the case. Shop mechanics have to attach the bike stand clamps right where this mount is positioned and had to remove it to do work on my bike. Make sure to check that this clamp is not missing if you leave your bike otherwise best to remove it before leaving off your bike to get work done on it.

Item is not as described when purchasing

This appears to be an intentional ripoff. The header line does say 'Planet Bike Rubber Mount Tail Light Bracket', but it is shown in the picture with a tail light attached. Scrolling down to Product Information, in the Technical Details list, for included components it states 'Bike Light and Mount' All you will receive is the mount.

Fits well, but Planet Bike Flashing Light came off at first bump

It seems to be a good mount, but the light does not click in place. I hit a bump and the light went flying. I used a rubber band to hold it in place, which works well. However, it is a bit kludgy.

Flexible, easy to adjust and stays in place

I needed this for a third light in an event. My other two are fixed/adjustable. This allowed the option to move to a second bike if needed. It stayed in place during a 24 hour ride and was adjustable to set the proper light angle.

Durable with average adjustability.

Works well enough and is sturdy. The availible angles are set in increments so you cannot make minute adjustments to aim the taillight beam but atleast it won't likely slide out of said position.

Much better than the original design

It is a mystery why this one wasn't bundled with the light to begin with. It allows more flexible mounting (literally and figuratively) than the original bracket with much less fuss. It is a little pricey for what you're getting; but it gets the job done.

Better than the hard plastic mount

Better than the hard plastic mount. Easy to remove. I would like it if two of these came with the light originally so that people can have a spare mount or one to go on their second bike. I thought the price was high.
