Cleans really well!

This is my first electronic toothbrush and I wanted to get something kind of middle of the line. Having used this toothbrush for several months now, I can say overall I am very happy with this one and my teeth definitely feel a level of clean that can't be reached with manual brushing. My slight stains from drinking coffee/tea are a little lighter, but not totally gone unfortunately. However I think it is preventing any new stains. Not a major downside, but my main gripe with the toothbrush is that the charging base gets dirty easily and constantly builds water stains. Pros - Lithium battery was high on my list of musts when getting an electronic toothbrush. I just leave this one on the charging base when not in use and I have never had an issue yet with battery life. - No new stains on teeth, good for coffee, tea drinkers! - Timer is very convenient as well as light to indicate if you are applying too much pressure to teeth Cons - Charging base is a material that gets water stains and gets dirty easily - Definitely loud, but I think all electronic toothbrushes will be. - Doesn't come with a brush cover which I really wish it did for sanitary reasons. It was easy to find and buy one though

Hated at first

When I received the toothbrush and used for the first time, my thought was, I'm going to return this. I had previous used a Sonicare toothbruse and this one is so different in so many ways. The on off switch IS difficult to push, but becomes easier as you use. Since this is a different motion from the other toothbrush it did seem odd. However after using for a little over a week, I do like the cleanliness of my mouth/teeth after using this item. I haven't traveled with it yet to be able to rate the battery life.

It makes a difference!

My dentist recommended this after I tore up my gums using a "medium" toothbrush. I can actually tell a difference using this toothbrush. One, it seems to really get deeper around and in between the teeth gently. If you apply too much pressure it will actually shut down. Second, my teeth look whiter, and they feel like they have been polished. I'm very happy with it.

Great clean

This thing cleans great. Downsides are it's very loud and hard to hang onto once it gets wet and pasty. I find it slightly big for my backmost teeth because I have a small mouth, but I'm having my wisdom teeth out soon. It leaves my teeth feeling very clean, though. I can't speak to the battery life because I put it back on the charger once I'm done.

Like a visit to the Dentist!

I love the features of this electric toothbrush. It has a 30 second reminder so that you can do each quarter of your mouth and then move on. Then the 2 minute mark is a longer beep reminder. Also, if you are pressing too hard it lights up to let you know. Awesome feature. The only thing I do not like is the handle, it is a little hard to grip and becomes slippery.

Cleanest my mouth has felt!

My dentist recommended I get an electric toothbrush, I’ve been old school for too long and honestly I wish I made the switch years ago! This toothbrush is amazing! Going to purchase for the whole family.

Glad I upped it and bought the 3 speed 1500

I’ve used an Oral b electric toothbrush for 20 plus years. I just bought my 3rd one. The first two were the basic level 1000 one speed models. This time I bought the 1500, 3 speed. It’s still your basic electric toothbrush and it still works great. The 3 speed it much kinder to my teeth and gums when needed.

I love it.

This is my third Oral-B and replaces one I’ve had for over 20 years which still seems to work fine but was looking ratty. I was amazed by the difference that the new brush made. It has a very different action that really does a deep clean. My dentist has been recommending the Oral-B electric brush for about 30 years but never said I should upgrade to a newer model. I would have made this upgrade sometime ago if I’d known. I highly recommend this toothbrush although I have not tried any of the competitors And can only reference the improvement over older Oral-B models.

Wow, kinda like going for a cleaning at the dentist

I had previously been using the Oral-b 1000 for the past 5+ years. I saw a decent deal on the iO Series 3 and figured it might be worth the upgrade. What a difference. My 1000 was rotating brush, the Series 3 moves so fast there is no rotation - it just buzzes like a hummingbird in your mouth! I haven't really fooled around with the different settings, to be honest I haven't read the manual so I have no idea what the flashes mean/what setting I'm on. The green light for the pressure notice was interesting, cuz my first go the light was lit the entire time so it seems like I have to work on my brushing :P It came with two heads, a carrying case and case for the heads. I'll use the travel case, but the case for the heads seems excessive. All in all well worth the purchase. We only get one set of permanent teeth, so put the investment and time into taking care of them!

Nouvelle technologie plus efficace que l’ancienne?

Ça fait des années que j’utilise des brosses à dent Oral B. J’ai toujours apprécié ce produit. Il fait d’excellent travail et c’est confirmé par mon dentiste lors de mes examens. Avec ce nouveau modèle, le fonctionnement est différent. Ça ressemble plus à des vibrations au lieu de mouvements comme les autres modèles. Il est mentionné que c’est plus efficace. Après plusieurs semaines d’utilisation, je demeure septique. C’est lors de mon prochain examen que le tout sera confirmé. Pour le moment, j’apprécie le fais qu’il est plus silencieux que les autres modèles, mais la sensation de vibration dans la bouche, c’est pas agréable. Question d’adaptation je suppose. À suivre. Mise à jour: C’est confirmé. Le nouveau système de vibration est moins efficace que l’ancien. C’est mon dentiste qui me l’a confirmé lors de mon examen dentaire. Je vais donc revenir avec mon ancienne brosse. Dommage.

Good Eperience - Light Helps With Pressure

My Periodontist office recommended an Oral B electric toothbrush with a pressure light for me. The hygenist told me i would feel the difference immediately. She was not wrong. I realize I was brushing far too lightly and with the help of this brush and a waterpik water flosser my teeth just feel so much cleaner after brushing. Nice that it has the timer too. I do not use the app so I cannot comment on that part. It would be nice if Oral B had a model without the app but still retains the other functions that was more cost effective. The only other one I could find only let you know if your pressure was too hard. This toothbrush tells me if my pressure is too hard, too soft, or just right with different coloured lights. Very easy to see in the mirror. I think this will need my next professional teeth cleaning a lot easier than this last go round.
