Great domino rally set, a few things to be aware of
What a great set of rally dominoes. As soon as we opened we opened the box we (me and my 6 and 4 year olds) played for almost two hours straight. The first thing that we noticed was how well painted/decorated they are. The paint seems to be of high quality and that it will not chip out with time. Another great thing to mention is that the set doesn't smell at all, which is often the case of painted wooden toys made in China. The stickers are also very well placed and covered with a clear layer of the same paint. Since this is aimed at young children, one opportunity that they missed on this one is to provide the little ones with some ideas to follow as they build their domino race. I know it is supposed to just be freestyling play, but kids at this age look for ideas and a bit of structure to start with. With that said, we loved, specially when we started to play a few games like putting letters together to write their names, putting matching animals next to each other, etc. On negative thing that I noticed on several pieces, is that the longer side is not cut square, which means you can't stand the piece on that side. Another thing, more on the natural pieces, is the several of them are a bit warped, which makes it more difficult to stand them up. Finally, we are having a lot of fun with this, but I would love to see the pieces be a bit thicker, as it would made it easier for young ones to stand them up without accidentally knocking them over so often. I finally taught my kids to live a three piece space every so often so that when them accidentally knock some over it does not drop every piece that was used in the build. Sturdy, colorful wooden dominoes with several rally features
There's a windmill, stairs, bridge, and a ball with a rolling groove in addition to the colorful animals including a full alphabet set and a number set with basic math operation signs. There's a lot packed into this cardboard tub and the number of ways to play is limitless. All of the animals are painted and then have a paint decal applied. You might notice on my picture of the stairs that the paint decal of the stairs on the right began peeling. I was able to smooth it down, then I carefully applied a bit of clear nail polish which fixed it nicely. Easy fix, but this was right out of the package which subsequently makes me a little concerned about the decal longevity. Also, the sides of the stairs are clear lacquer finished but the stair treads are unfinished wood. The unfinished portions on my set were a little rough but nothing that would cause a sliver. If your rally course includes a water feature you might want to keep in mind that the stair treads are unfinished. If you're handy and have some laquer it's probably simple enough to just laquer the steps. No, you shouldn't have to do that on a $30+ toy but your resourcefulness will probably help to preserve this otherwise beautiful wooden domino set for a long time and give your little ones years of enjoyment. Overall, this is a fun set with plenty of variety in the pieces and I would recommend it. Hope this was helpful.

Great rainy day fun
This is a set of many cute wooden zoo themed dominoes (150 pieces total). There are many different designs and some have letters and numbers. There are also special pieces like steps, a bridge, a pendulum, a windmill, and a little ball and some rolling discs. The age is 3+ because there are DEFINITE choking hazards in this set so keep the babies away! However my almost-3 son who I trust not to put things in his mouth loves this set. It comes in a nice storage container that doesn't take up too much space. The dominoes can be somewhat challenging for tiny hands to set up but mainly I find my son likes me to do the set up anyway. Kids this age can be more into the "wrecking" part of this activity. Set up is fun for adults so it's a great activity for all. I would have loved if it came with some instructions/ideas on how to set the pieces up in interesting ways.

Fun variety, simple but entertaining toy
I swear I'm joking - after I set up a line of these dominoes and showed my 2yo how to knock them down, she exclaimed, "this is the best family game, ever!" The set is comprised of animal dominoes, with letters; animal dominoes without letters; tree dominoes with numbers; and solid colored rectangle dominoes. There are also a few obstacles - two sets of "stairs," a ball and a rolling track for it, a pendulum. All things that are perfect for creatine a great line up of dominoes to knock over. The variety of the (solid wood) pieces is nice, but I only gave the set four stars instead of five because the pieces are quite thin and don't stand up on their own easily - in particular if a small child tries to put them together.

Colorful set of dominoes in a cardboard storage bucket
Love this set! So many hours of setting up and watching it go is going to be had this weekend! Our grandkids are coming over and we are so excited to teach them the joy of stacking dominoes. This set is so much more than just a bunch of plain Dominoes. This set includes numerous individual bags filled with different dominoes. There’s a bag of animals that include elephants, zebras, lions and crocodiles. There’s also a bag of tree shaped dominoes that have numbers on them. on this domino game race through the zoo. And we can’t wait to use the wooden accessories that came with the set. There’s steps, a windmill, a wooden plank, a wooden ball, and so much more! There’s 150 pieces stored,in a cardboard bucket that has a plastic lid and handle. Great storage bucket, great pictures on the side to show how to set up dominoes rally! I just wish they had some type of instruction manual or idea chart. But with all the pieces and three grandkids, I’m sure we will come up with some great activities. Summary: (1) High quality wood with rounded edges (2) 150 piece set (3) For ages 3+ years

Bello e impegnativo
Sono un'amante del domino, ricordo con precisione il mio di quando ero piccola. Questo è fatto benissimo in ogni parte, solo i mattoncini sono molto sottili e ci vuole grande attenzione e precisione per non far partire la cascata inavvertitamente.
