3 bottles for the Gazelle T4

Hi. I got this because I wanted to seam seal around the metal posts on the gazelle T4, see pic, it wasn’t completely dry yet. It probably doesn’t need it but this is extra insurance just in case. I ended up getting 3 bottles and they covered every seam, window, and around both doors, and I didn’t have enough for the rainfly but I have spray for that. I may get an extra bottle just in case, they are inexpensive enough.

GREAT PRODUCT...APPLICATOR BRUSH VERY USEFUL!!!

I'm very impressed with this product...easy to apply with the brush tip, did not discolor the tent material it was applied to, or change the flexibility of the seam. Always follow the manufacturer's directions for use, but in my case, I elected to apply a thin layer of the sealer to both the inside and outside seam before treating the body of the tent with waterproofing spray. Also, my perspective is that compared to other products, this Coghlan's Seam Sealer is a very good value for the money. Happy Camping! Stay Dry!

Good stuff!

I actually bought this stuff to use on my fishing waders. I turned them inside out and squeezed Coghlans on and spread it over the seams. Let them dry over night. The next time I fished the leak seemed to be there a little in one knee but not the other. Given that I wasn't laser focused on exactly where the leak might have been and was rather general in my application I was pleasantly surprised when I took my waders off to find so little leakage onto my pants. I've since done an additional application and will see if that seals them 100%. Also, this stuff does not have any nasty smell when using it. And after it dried, to look at the seams the next day you would not know that I applied anything, so it absorbed it and did not leave any stains. I saw some reviews that did not like the applicator. It might not be perfect but it lets you squeeze the sealant out and the brush allows just that some rough brushing to where you want it.

My husband has used this product on his tent and knows it works. So when we bought a tent for our grandchildren, he purchased this to waterproof the seams.

USE AN OLD MAKEUP SPONGE & BRUSH!! Those brittles will poke RIGHT through your fabrics! I have yet to treat the tent due to NYC cold, I'm in a studio & no ventilation. I'll update the ease of application after. Kiwi is simply light sweeps across the tent obviously but I'll do that AFTER seams so kiwi will get all good and sealed on the outside with glue. Dbld duty

Good product. Terrible applicator.

The product works fine once you get it on. It's the same thing I've used many times before to seal tent seams. The applicator design, a bristle brush built into the bottle cap, is absolutely useless unless you are applying it to a horizontal seem on the tent floor. If you try to apply it to a vertical seam on the walls or a horizontal seam across the roof, the sealer just runs out on the ground. There aren't enough bristles on the brush to hold it. I ended up applying the product to a paper towel and using it like a sponge.

Great! Good value!

Worked great! No leaks yet! Was a little messy with built in brush which I don't mind. It is easier than the syringe technique, but that's technique is the cleanest way to seam seal.

Good price, been using it for years.

Sealed my tent seams and the tent was nice and dry. I did take my time and did use almost the whole container. For large tent two bottles would be best.

Just did not seal the edges of our knapsacks that we wanted waterproofed. Glue dries too slowly and is absorded into fabric.

Can't sat it was the product or human error, but either way it didn't work for us. Went to bed on an air mattress and woke up in a waterbed......

Needed this. good product, not exactly as pictured. shows a bottle with cap as if it has a dabber(was looking for one with a dabber) to apply but comes with a stiff brush instead less control when applying ,description was vague. not a big deal. Pic should be changed.
