Good product, but....

Very good product, however it is a little costly for 2 pieces of it. I would like to see 3 or 4 next time. One thing I did notice when adhering it is that it doesn’t seal immediately or stay attached right away. Which can be concerning if you are repairing in the rain or for an approaching storm. Once it sets for 24 hours it’s on there for good. I also decided to go around the lip of the pitch and put some silicon to seal it in

Works easily and holds well

I have an old heavy tent and I had lent it out and when they came back through his holes and slits in it. I used this tape works real well it was easy to. The only problem that I found was the expense it has two pieces that are 3 in by 5 in. you can tell on my white tent that there's been a patch but it does not look that bad and it's working so well who cares. If you are doing several holes it can get expensive. But it feels like a real good seal. On one hole I did the top and underside because there was material missing. Hope this helps

Bought a 2 pack "just in case" A week later I was glad I did!

I bought this to keep in my "worry bag" A week later I damaged a section of seam tape on my silpoly hammock tarp. The seam chaffed a bit on the ridge line during a high wind rainstorm. I placed this patch over the damaged spot while it was leaking. Stayed dry the rest of the night. A more thorough repair is under way now, but this was just what I needed for a quick field repair.

Will not work with silicone products

So far so good!

Easy to use. Minimally noticeable. Seems to hold well, though only time will tell. (Our tent had a clean 5 inch rip where the dog tried to get in. Easy repair of just holding it closed and taping it shut.) If it doesnt last, I will update my rating.

Just right for my expensive silnylon hammock tarp

These were exactly what I needed to repair some small tears in my Warbonnet silnylon tarp. Regular tenacious tape won't adhere to the silnylon. This stuff sticks and holds tightly. I wouldn't use these on anything but silnylon specifically.

Follow the instructions, fool.

Repaired a damaged Berghaus waterproof coat following the instructions to the letter and it worked perfectly. Repaired a Berghaus inner jacket without following the instructions and it came off in the first wash. Suppose that's why they have instructions.

Fairly effective but not subtle

Adheres quite well but stands out clearly compared with the original fabric even if the original and patch fabric are highly similar.

Misrepresented

The product is excellent but not for everything. I bought it to repair a thermoball jacket because it said it was sheer and colourless. That is not correct. It has a tone of plastic that’s stands out on my jacket like a bandage. It does the job well and for heavier tents I’m sure it is good but do not use it for puff jackets.

Easy to apply and effective

The perfect sticky patch for small-ish tears - used them on my cycling over-pants and still holding in great across a tension spot and with daily use.

Tenacious fixes

I fixed a Haglöfs L.I.M. 25 backpack, which had a 3-4 cm long cut, with one patch and it worked perfectly. I went for a 4 day hike in the Pyrenees with a completely full backpack and had no issues at all. However, it didn't rain so I am still not sure how water resistant it is. Lets the time tell but I expect the fix to last long.
