Great product bad packaging tube
I love this stuff. It’s a great waterproof sealant that’s a little elastic but not too putty-like. It doesn’t smell much as you’re applying it, but the smell gets really strong as it’s drying. Be aware it will need somewhere to dry away from you and your pets. It takes about an hour to set to the point where nothing will fall over. It takes a really long time to dry completely to the point where it stops smelling. About a week. I used it to make a basking platform for a snake and it was super important that there was no smell before I added it to his cage. It’s nice and strong though, and I’m confident it will hold up to bleach when I need to sanitize clean his cage. The tube it comes in is awful. The back end of the tube always blows out no matter how careful I am. It happened to all 4 tubes I used. Quite a mess. Honestly it might just be better to cut off the bottom of the tube and use that instead of trying to get the sealant to come out the nozzle.

The best for aquarium use.
I bought this and punctured the end, when I squeezed the tube, the bottom end opened and went everywhere. I told the seller what happened, he asked what size I bought, and he sent me another tube for free in a few days at his expense. NOW THATS GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE! I highly recommend this great product from a great company. All of my aquariums are made by this company also.n Thee best!

Does the job
It does what it's supposed to but its very hard to squeeze out of the tube. The bottom of my tube split open just from squeezing so hard to get it out! The scent is not great but it goes away once it dries.

Works great, but be careful of the tub. Mine opened up at the wrong end and made a horrible mess, threw it away. Was refunded

Great stuff !
Does what it's supposed to. Let this stuff cure a good long time. I could not figure out why my tank was hazy.... Yeah... I let it cure a week and it took two or three weeks for my tanks to get unhazy after adding the items.

Just buy ge 100% silicone 1
Maybe good for shallower tanks. My tank is 600 gallons with a depth of 3.5 feet deep. The silicone held on the vertical seams but not the horizontal seam on the bottom. Lead to a nice leak and having to empty 600 gals and fill again. Used ge 100% silicone 1 as I do all my other tanks and it worked fine. For 7 bucks a tube compared to 30 would never use this stuff again. Water bill is gonna be expensive this month thanks to this aqueon silicone not holding.

Got my toilet back finally!
My fish are happy! They are out of the toilet tank and back in a custom made tank. Seriously though..... I have always made my own tanks and this product never fails to perform. Easy to use and reliable. Keep some on hand for fast repairs. Fast delivery as well.

Cheap effective dry time is long 48 hours. Nice applicator head.
Black good for hydro. Easy to work with must work fast. Used it to seal leaky uniseals on a bucket system. Reusable when cap filled with silicone is stored in alcohol. Tape bottom of tube with duct tape before use to avoid a blowout. Can buy from store but for 7 dollars to get anywhere and back in Toronto, it's worth it to get delivered and pay a little more

Defective silicone tube
I put the silicone tube into my. Caulking gun and kept pressing the handle for a while and no silicone was even coming out the front tip. Thought something wasn't right and checked the back of the tube and the silicone was just everywhere on the back end, oozing out the wrong side... I ordered this a while ago while I prepared my fish tank to be ready for it. The return window time is finished... Can I get a replacement? I have photos.

Meh....
Bought this item twice to fix a leak in our fish tank. It does not seal properly unless you add several layers. Also, both times, when squeezing to try to get the glue out of the top, the bottom burst open and it went everywhere. After adding about six layers it finally sealed. If it’s a crack or seal you can turn to the back where no one notices it’s no big deal.
