Don't do it.
I've tried lanthanum chloride(Seaklear) with super low dose and it killed my yellow & gem tangs. Thought I'd give this a try... Fine for a few days.. Figured it was better.. Then a week later, cleaned my gyres and turned up flow.. Next day, lost 2 kole and 2 yellows. =( guessing there were particulates that got stirred up and suffocated my tangs. I will never use lanthanum chloride again!

ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! i'm always worried when i see great comments but im telling you this stuff works! i have battled with brown algae outbreaks from high phos and silica for 2 years. i started using this and im not kidding AT ALL when i say i started seeing results immediately (with 2-3 days) im always skeptical about good comments and i always check the bad just to see what people really say but all i can tell you is this and dr tims waste away are the only 2 things that have ever worked for me. excuse the typos in a hurry sorry

Works and safe for the reef in my use
It does work but also clouds the water a lot longer than they said. It is good for maintenance a little once a week or so. Had no problems with the reef inhabitants more concentrated than some of the competition. Use at night to avoid the cloudy water which on my 180 took several hours to clear. Clearly not the most inexpensive of this type of product.

I'm not sure what that other guy is talking about, maybe he needs a new test kit. I use Hanna po4 checked and the po4 reduction with the agent green LC is exactly what the bottle says when used in the correct dosage. You should however be careful with the product, dose it slowly just before a skimmer and or a filter sock. And just to re enforce my opinion, a picture of the tank I use it in.

Works to lower PO4 in reef tank.
Works as advertised. This is lanthanum chloride, but in what's probably a calculated dose. I used it to lower my PO4 in my reef from 3.0+ using Salifert to 0.1 ppm in a little over a week. I do use a 5 micron filter sock too. Tangs were UNAFFECTED as were acros. Good luck!

Works but requires more than many other products
Was hoping this was like a big bottle of Lanthanum Chloride, but it is pretty diluted so it takes a lot to make a small reduction in Phosphate level. It takes about 20ml of this stuff to equal 50 drops of another product.

Not an algae killer
Work, but wasn't what I thought. It's a phosphate remover and not something that actually kills algae.

From my limited experience with this product, it seems to reduce the level of phosphate as indicated .... will keep on using it ... have not noticed any negative effects on the fish or the coral
