Decent for the money - make sure the surface is clean and smooth before adhering

Adhered these to my 12 foot Jon Boat after I painted her. The adhesive could be a little better as one of the letters seems to want to slowly come off. I just keep pushing it back on and if it continues to be an issue will just replace that one. I've had it in the water a few times and the side of the boat and letters/numbers have gotten wet with no issues. I would give a 5 but for the one that keeps peeling off I have to give this a 4.

Very nice lettering kit

I purchased both the black and white kits to put registration numbers on my new PWC's. These letters comply with the USCG requirements and look great! Spacing was a concern to me and I was not sure how I would attack the issue when it was time to apply the numbers. Well, this kit has the spacing of each number/letter included. The die cuts are made so that when applied next to the previous letter the spacing is perfect. I cut the letters and numbers I needed apart from the sheets. Then I lightly applied the entire letter (background and the letter) to the boat. After all of the numbers were placed I could go back and pull the background off leaving only the letter. Spacing was perfect. The die cuts were very good and allowed just the background to lift off, the letters remained. The adhesion was great on the fiberglass (unwaxed). The kit had 4 of each letter/number so I have plenty of spares too.

Great quantity at a low price

I had paid $.50 a letter at the local boat yard, but of course nothing sticks to a poly boat, so I had to make a pair of mounting plates for my numbers and DEM decals. Knowing the originals would be falling off in no time, I ordered these to replace my current sets along with having enough backups to last the rest of my life. My new plates are on, and these numbers will go on as soon as I finish my beer. Perfect for anyone who needs boat numbers, especially if you're using canoes, kayaks, etc. where they might get scratched up buy branches or mutant catfish in the local ponds.

Great adhesive for the price

We tried lettering using a different vinyl product and they curled after the first encounter with water. These are great. No matter the weather they're still fully adhered to the surface we mounted them on. They're so solidly affixed that from a distance they look like they're painted lettering. Great value for the money. Highly recommend.

Very nice lettering with plenty of each one

The background and letters-numbers did not come off the backing together as others stated. I didn't try the tape transfer method. I just free-handed the placement and spacing. Very nice lettering with plenty of each one. I ordered a total of 3 packs, so I'll never be without replacements during commercial seasons. Excellent adhesive.

Poor quality

Purchased for boat application of registration. Very thin vinyl, not good quality & difficult to peel intact from backing. Impossible to not handle sticky side & a trick to align on boat hull. Do not waste your money. Choose another source. Poor service, taking one month for delivery of 8x11 envelope package.
